1-qt. Bar-B-Que Black Satin High Heat Paint (Case of 2) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great DIY product! My home had a brass and red brick fireplace and red tile hearth which didn't go well with a more modern black and white living room so just two coats of this paint over our brick, brass, and red tile made it look like a whole new fireplace and much more modern. It was worth the investment and so glad I didn't have to retile the hearth or buy a new fireplace protector.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rust oleum brush on I usually use the spray version, but this was going to be inside the house on fireplace interior so spray was not good for winter indoor application. I was very impressed, 2nd coat leveled the look out perfectly and even had a bit of a satin look to it. Very pleased would highly recommend. Thanks

Smooth, and just runny enough to get into the little places. Dried to a satin finish eventually. A little smoky and stinky when you fire it up, but that is true of any coating. Looks fantastic after weeks of use.
