Customer Questions & Answers

Can this be use for exterior use?? Such as to repaint a bicycle? ?

Asked by: Jennifer
You probably could use it on other surfaces so long as you scratch it up in between coats with steel wool so the paint will stick good as it will take several coats to make it look good.

Customer Reviews

10.25 oz. Bright Pink Glitter Spray Paint (6-Pack) is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Common Sense with Glitter Paint Anyone who has actually worked with any type of glitter paint on the market knows that they are all glitter in a clear base. You should ALWAYS prime your surface. (If you are working on a wood surface, make sure to sand and remove sanded residue. Once the surface has been primed, lightly sand and remove residue.) Depending on how big the project, you might consider having your primer tinted. Then 1 or 2 coats of colored paint. Give the project time to thoroughly dry between coats. After your colored coat, then spray 2 to 3 light coats of glitter paint. If you're looking for type of coverage on the can lid - this should do it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from All gummed up Well what I thought was going to be a fun project turn into a nightmare. Two out of the five cams purchased would not spray since they were all gummed up. The third can gummed up mid way and only two cans actually worked. Since the projected was started I had to resort to actually using glitter to finish the frames I was painting. I'll have to think twice before attempting to use glitter spray paint if this will be the result.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from GLITTER SPRAY PAINT I am not pleased with the coverage of this paint. I painted some different surfaces and with 1 coat it looked like I hadn't put anything on it at all. It took 3 coats to look good and if you want it to look like the picture, you will have to put more coats on your project. The cost of the paint would be crazy for any project. It looks great with 4 coats. I would not use this product for any of my projects.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sparkle spray paint Nice color and glitter but you will need a few bottles to cover anything. It's a very thin layer compared to reg spray paint. I'd say get triple what you think you will need.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from clogs way too much This glitter just clogs in the tip way too much. That is if you can even get the product to work at all.I have purchased 2 cans and out of both cans I was only able to get either of them to work 1 time.Tried their suggestion of soaking the tip in mineral spirits and still nothing. Matter of fact the second can never worked at all. After I shook the can for a couple of minutes I popped the cap off only to find some clear liquid running down the side of the can and all over my hand and I hadn't even pushed the tip down yet. When I did push it down nothing happened except a dripple of about 1 drop of glitter came out of the tip then nothing.Soaked the tip and still nothing.Very frustrated and disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Depends... I specifically asked if I'd need to prime my wood surface first or if this would have proper coverage. An associate said this spray paint would have coverage & primer wasn't needed. Wrong. I'd highly recommend using a base coat of paint first before you spray this on your surface so you get a nice pink glitter color. The can goes super fast. I'd imagine I could have finished my kids table with one can had I painted my table with a solid colot first. I'd recommend this product IF you use a base coat of paint first!
