I have purchased and used 1 can of triple thick glaze. The reason that I only purchased 1 can was that I have tried many products that did not turn out to be appropriate for my use. Since I am a professional artist and use a reasonable quantity of my staples, I will be purchasing this product in volume.
My use and experiment was coating primed acrylic painted wood fish sculpture both without finish and with previous finishes. The results were most impressive given that I fully expected reactions with the previous finishes and the weather was hot and humid( Fl in Summer). I only had 1 reaction and no bubbles, snow, or milk in the finish with heavy application. Immediately after the application I did place them in my a/c studio to dry. Great product!

I have spray painted a thousand things - wood, metal plastic, with colored paint and clear glazed and never had a problem. I painted in the garage, in the shade, and when it was 70 degrees and low humidity. This left white dust and a splotchy cloudy finish. terrible product. My project is ruined and now I have to start over. Waste of money and time.

Nice and thick, But will act as a solvent and make any paint under the glaze thin out run.
Regular clear coat won't remove the base paint like this will.

It does take more than one coat. It soaks into wood that has been painted 3X, so plan on extra. It is not expensive, so that helps. I also painted clay pots. I only applied one coat to the pot itself and it wasn't thick and glossy, but with more coats it might have been. I wanted to protect the paint. I painted the wooden table tops and clay with acrylic house paint and it sealed it just fine.. The saucers are getting at least 2 coats as I want them waterproof. I sealed the inside of the clay pot with aquarium silicone. It still covers better than less thick glazes. I liked it and bought more to finish the job. I also had some Viva Decor gold on the clay pot and it sealed it fine also.

I use this to coat paper for clock faces. It is thick and coats well and hides edges. Make sure to tack paper down as it will bend but once dry it is like a decal.

Seems to be a good product. But if you put anything on it after it's completly dried, it will stick to it like glue. That being said I don't recommend this product if your going to lean anything on it. You'll have to redue the whole project if you can get it apart.
