I want to use this to make a starry sky for my son's room, over a blue surface, and I hope that the glow material will not be visible during the day, only at night while it is glowing.

I am painting a space mural in a little boy's room, the walls and ceiling are a medium blue/gray. I used three coats of flat ceiling white to paint the stars so they would be completely white. After stirring the paint thoroughly, getting all of the sediment off of the bottom.... I put two coats of the "Glow in the Dark" paint on the stars & they only glow a little bit. The room is rather dark, does not get a lot of sunlight and the lights in the room are not bright. Is there a certain bulb that will make the paint glow better?

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No glow! So far it's a "No Glow!" Tried brushing on and laying it on heavily. Glow settles at the bottom of the can so stir well and cross your fingers! June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No glo Does not work and leaves a yellowish tint on painted surface. Found other paint products to lum better than this June 28, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dont waste your money Product did not 'glow' at all. very disappointed. And yes, I painted it on a white background, so that should have helped. December 8, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't get your hopes up. The photos showing the results of using this product are misleading. The can's label states the 'glow in the dark' will last approximately two hours. I put two coats onto two stones on the south side of my house, and when it was dark, I could barely see them. I am very glad I bought the smallest can (which, in my opinion, was very expensive). I'm sure there are a lot of folks like me out there that thought this would be kind of a cool thing to do, but were very disappointed. I don't know if it works better on yard art things, but I don't think I will try it to find out. July 21, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not impressed with this product For the cost and quality, this was not a good purchase. I know I will not waste my time and money. October 27, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worthless even after a full day in the florida sun after the application of five coats onto a white primed background i expected to see some results at night. The Florida sun should be enough energy to create a slight amount of glow by nightfall. There was nothing glowing. the primed surface before application actually was brighter in the dark, just because it was white, than the so called glow in the dark paint. I bought the spray can too, but that was a lost cause as well. August 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Glowing Review Mixes well into acrylic paint to make the glow in the dark. Product does what it claims and glows upto 2 hours. Good value for the price. August 25, 2015
