Sorry, but Rust-Oleum Specialty Metallic will not work on plastic surfaces on its own.
In order to use this product on a plastic surface you will need to apply a plastic primer first, model #182721. Once that has dried you can apply the metallic paint, or any other Rust-Oleum paint for that matter.
