Is this paint safe for painting a baby crib and how long will it take to properly cure?

If the smell still lingers does it mean that the paint isn't cured yet? Do the VOC emissions disappear after the paint is cured?
Asked by: SG
I painted the window sill. Left the window open and had a fan on it for several hours. The smell completely disappears after two weeks.

Can this paint be used on an outdoor fiberglass planter?
Asked by: Bridgid
Yes, Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Protective Enamel may be applied to a fiberglass surface. For best adhesion, to a fiberglass surface, we recommend lightly sanding the surface with 180-220 grit sandpaper to create a profile for the paint to adhere to.

can this product be tinted to other colors?

I would like to try to paint my white appliances to get the look of stainless without the expense of upgrading. Can this product be tinted? Does it come in other colors?
Asked by: Anonymous
The Menards Stores carry a line of rustoleum that they tint. That is the only store that I have seen where then have the special base colors in stock for tinting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice topcoat for our exterior door nice even coverage & shine. long dry time - 24 hours to cure properly (i tried to hurry it up & ruined the finish. i had to sand surface & start over.). don't rush it; it's worth the wait! did it as instructed 2nd time around, & had beautiful results!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best purchase ever PROTECTIVE ENAMEL PAINT very high quality. If you know how to paint you should be able to use it correctly. if not, use water base paint not oil base paint

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way too thick. Painting like this is like painting with a wood glue. Paint is too thick to properly apply! Using a brush meant an extreme arm workout, using a roller it dripped and splattered everywhere because the roller kept getting "stuck" in the thick paint. Used on my steel outside door that already had a coat of paint on it. Prepped the surface per directions, and it will still need two coats. Not looking forward to the second coat. Will not use again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dry time is painfully long, if ever? Sanded and prep'd 5 Steal car wheels. Painted per directions, 3 coats minutes apart. Day 4 and paint is still very soft, can easily put fingernail indent into paint....could literally use my fingernail to scrap it right off with ease.....
