Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Get the look of Copper on the cheap! I used this copper spray paint on my mailbox, it looks really nice. The good thing about the spray paint, as opposed to real copper, is that it doesn't turn green, and it stays the pretty copper color. I also wanted a handrail made out of copper, and I couldn't find any that was big enough, and it was kind of expensive, so I bought a 1 1/2" galvanized post, and spray painted it with the copper paint and mounted it on the brackets. It looks really good. The paint has held up pretty well considering that it's is a handrail, and is used every time someone goes up and down the stairs. I put real copper endcaps on the railing, and they've oxidized, and they don't look very good, but the copper spray paint keeps on shining. April 21, 2013
