Answer:
No, Rust-Oleum LeakSeal Spray is not recommended for surfaces that will be continuously submerged in water. To refinish a gunite pool, we recommend using Zinsser Swimming Pool Paint. It is ideal for decorating and waterproofing gunite surfaces. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Zinsser-5-gal-Blue-Flat-Oil-Based-Swimming-Pool-Paint-260542/205195858

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for outdoor fountain leak I bought this to fix my outdoor fountain. When I filled it this year, it had a serious leak. I cleaned the inside, since I couldn't tell where it was leaking, I sprayed the inside with 3 coats. It seems to be like new. Much cheaper than a new fountain. I give it a thumbs up! May 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stuff! Used on top of fireplace chase and the intermittent leak hasn't returned in the three or more years since. Also used it on another intermittent roof leak that had to be repaired before the interior repairs could be done. Again, no issues and repairs are underway. In contrast to an earlier review, using the spray makes a broadcast application possible and you don't have to identify the source of each potential leak. Sorry, no pictures! January 6, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worthless Product Bought this product to patch a hose leak and soon as turned water back on it popped right off !!!!! January 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked for me So we noticed where our deck meets the house water was coming into the basement. As a stop gap until i could get the contractor out to have a look, I grabbed some clear leak seal. Sprayed it where the deck meets the house on the top and into all the holes and nooks i could find. Low and beyond 2 rain storms and I cant detect any water in the basement. It was easy to apply, applied very evenly and i didnt even need to mask off the doors. Of course this is temporary as i have to get the flashing checked but for now for $10 bucks it did the job! Might try it around the bilco doors that seem to let in a little moisture as well and see if that works. Will update soon! May 19, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not work I had leaks after following instructions on a fair weather day. It did not hold on the seams of the metal roof. I ended up using a roof sealant because it peels like someone took a paint scraper. My roof is in a high wind and rain area. July 16, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Good! Tried to use it to seal a seam on my carport. Spent a good bit of time cleaning and prepping the surface. Applied it on a very nice 70 degree day. It had at least 36 hour of cure time before our next rain. When I checked it the product did no good what so ever. There was water underneath part of it and every bit out it you could just peel off by hand. April 17, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst product ever! Don't waste your money! This jusk peeled up as it was being applied! May 20, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Quality does not justify the price. I was only able to spray a little more than half of the can before pressure was going down. Quality of this product does not justify the price. I will not buy any more of this., January 6, 2015
