Final conclusion .. the stuff works but get 2 cans ;-> ..

what kind of pipe? Supply water pipe? No. A leak in a drain pipe? Maybe? Would have to be dry to apply and on the top if it was horizontal. A flue pipe? No! Not enough info to respond.

Answer:
Yes, Rust-Oleum LeakSeal Spray Paint is designed for use on several surfaces, including vinyl siding. Please keep in mind, we recommend performing a test spray on cardboard to get a feel for the spray pattern, to ensure best results before applying to the surface.

You’ve come to right place, David! Rust-Oleum Stops Rust LeakSeal Spray is suitable for use on concrete, masonry, and more. The surface does need to be clean and dry prior to application. We recommend applying in a test area to ensure the desired results.

With my project, I didn't quite know where the leak was coming from after a heavy rain fall... I just sprayed an area with leak seal where I thought the drips were coming from and after 4 applications, the drips has stopped all together. I waited after 5 days of heavy tropical rain and still no leak. I will buy leak seal again... However one draw back is if the can of spray is not fully emptied after a month, the spray nozzle dries up and you no longer can use the spray can again. One advise, either have a big project or share with some neighbors who have little projects.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works Bought this to seal some leaks in a gutter on my deck that was too tight to get a caulking gun in to use regular seam sealer. I cleaned the area well and sprayed three coats on the area and all is good. I also used it to water proof a wood planter to keep it from rotting out and with all the cracks and seams this made it an easy job to just spray a thick coat over the inside of the planter before adding the dirt . Saved me from buying a liner. This is a nice product to have around for many projects. I would have given it a excellent rating but have not seen the results for the long haul but would change that if in six months there were still no leaks.

I tried to seal eight 1/8" diameter holes on a vertical surface. I though the LeakSeal did the job, but within ten minutes the seal ran down the wall, exposing the holes. It appears the LeakSeal is too thin and runny. I question it working on a flat surface on the same 1/8" diameter holes . I think the LeakSeal would just sag through the holes. I gave it three stars because I think it would work on materials with very small holes or cracks. Especially if they were on a relatively flat surface.

I was told this was one of the better brands for sealing Things and I needed to seal a sink that had cracked in the Bowl. I sprayed the inside of the bowl and the underside With the clear sealer and it works great. No more leaks. It's been a few weeks and still no leaks. It was that or replace the sink. I will replace the sink in the future we just didn't want the mess During thanksgiving since we were limited on time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I was expecting a product that was less of a liquid. I expected it to fill the crack and be less likely to run down the side of the building. I was using the product to fill cracks in a concrete wall where the mortar had begun to crack and let water inside the building. I do not know at this point if the product actually works; there has not been a rain with winds above 20 MPH.

There was a bunch of gunk of some sort dabbed on top of the original sealant, I first tried to spray this on top as a third layer and it slowed but did not stop the leak (didn't really think it would but was being lazy). Next I scraped out both layers and went back with this, problem solved,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Vinyl Sealant? I'm actually trying this on a worn outdoor vinyl spa cover. I'm not sure if this is advertised for such use but I wanted to try it as new covers are quite expensive. So far it's holding up well but will it stand up to the harsh Minnesota winters, only time will tell. The one thing that I was disappointed in was coverage area per can.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as Promised Product worked great and fixed a plumbing leak I had on my outside Jacuzzi .. It had a slow drip around one or two of the pvc pipes and I turned off the water to those pipes and sprayed it all around and waited a full 24 hours and tested .. no leaks :). Will definitely use this product again in the future.
