Answer:
Rust-Oleum LeakSeal is available in black, aluminum, white, brown and clear. It is a paintable finish, perhaps you would like one of the red color options we offer to go over the LeakSeal for your finish color.

Answer:
Hi Fred! Depending on how thick you apply Rust-Oleum LeakSeal Spray will determine how much coverage. One coat will give you about 8 square feet since it is a thicker coating. Two coats are recommended for best results. For 48 square feet you would need at least 12 cans to properly cover the whole surface.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product This product does what it says it will just follow the directions. August 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Leakseal is Bad Product I purchased 2 cans of Rust-Oleum LeakSeal Flexible Rubber Coating at Home Depot. I used it on the inside of a pool filter that had a 2in. hair line crack, did the proper cleaning preparations then sprayed it as per instructions, and allowed 28 hrs. drying, curing time put it back together and it leaked worst than before! Going to home depot to get my money back ! July 27,2016 6:30 am thru July 28,2016 12:13 pm Bubba Houston tx July 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by well worth the $ Used this to repair a cement bird bath. Sprayed both sides and it works great! No more leaks! August 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good for roof repairs Used this product before to seal leak on the roof. Bought another can when I saw a crack in the roof. Hold the spray for a few seconds to get a thick layer of rubber. July 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not stop leask; directions on container can NOT be read even with 20/10 vision We had high hopes to seal a small leak in a condensate drain pan. Hope is good, but the product did not perform, despite applying three light coats and waiting 24 hours for the stuff to cure, the condensate pan is still leaking. The label on the can is printed in way too small a font for anyone to read. Perhaps printing in English only in larger font will be helpful, but in both English and Spanish crammed on a round can is useless to everyone. The price, at ten bucks, is too high -- at ten cents it will still be too high. This product does not work. May 28, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by WORKED ONCE, BUT NOT TWICE I used a can of Rusoleum Leakseal on the inside of two rain barrels to fill small cracks. I put eight coats on each crack, starting out with small spray amounts. It worked to stop the leak in one rain barrel, but it did not stop the leak in the second rain barrel. I used about a third of a can on the inside of each rain barrel, spraying it in timed intervals throughout the day. I was disappointed that it did not repair the crack in the second rain barrel. I may have been applying it on the wrong type of plastic. I plan to scrape it off of the bottom of the rain barrel, and use plastic roof cement (tar) to repair the crack. September 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stuff Had a roof flashing leak. Cleaned up the area, but on several coats and brushed smooth to make sure it got in the cracks...... just bought some more to do another area that is leaking... will see next big storm. I am sure it will hold. September 15, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by worked for me, stopped leak from under door It seems to have worked for me. I have a door with a large gap under it. I used some expanding foam to stop the bugs and air from coming in, but that stuff seems to be a sponge. Every hard rain left me with puddles in my kitchen. So I tried the Leak Seal the other day. We had a very hard rain early this morning (nearly 3'') and my kitchen is dry, so I am happy, needless to say. I will note that this product can be messy and you will want to be careful with it. I used painters tape and cardboard to protect the threshold, door and trim. Gloves might be a good idea, too. This can spatter out a couple of feet from where you are applying it, so note that. I also followed the directions and tried to lay down a thin first coat and a heavier second coat, about 30 min. later. October 31, 2015
