Answer:
Rust-Oleum LeakSeal Flexible Rubberized Coating is not recommended to be used on ABS plastics or synthetic rubber. These two substrates have been proven to be extremely difficult to properly accept coatings.

Answer:
Rust-Oleum LeakSeal is available in black, aluminum, white, brown and clear. It is a paintable finish, perhaps you would like one of the red color options we offer to go over the LeakSeal for your finish color.

Answer:
Hi Fred! Depending on how thick you apply Rust-Oleum LeakSeal Spray will determine how much coverage. One coat will give you about 8 square feet since it is a thicker coating. Two coats are recommended for best results. For 48 square feet you would need at least 12 cans to properly cover the whole surface.

Yes. Just be sure to follow the directions carefully, shake the can thoroughly, mask off what you don't want sprayed, do it on a windless day and wear an appropriate breathing mask.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leakseal is Bad Product I purchased 2 cans of Rust-Oleum LeakSeal Flexible Rubber Coating at Home Depot. I used it on the inside of a pool filter that had a 2in. hair line crack, did the proper cleaning preparations then sprayed it as per instructions, and allowed 28 hrs. drying, curing time put it back together and it leaked worst than before! Going to home depot to get my money back ! July 27,2016 6:30 am thru July 28,2016 12:13 pm Bubba Houston tx

I am very pleased with the durability and how its sticks to everything you use it on. I used it for my car and sprayed it on over Bondo, Fiberglass and rust spots it fill all little imperfections and dries smooth and looks great. I recommend it for use on what ever you need to seal. I do suggest that it should come in other custom colors on the shelf.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solution for temporary fix of roof leaks. The Leakseal spray was used for a temporary repair on a two square foot section of damaged garage roof. It was easy to apply and seems to be working well since we had 2" of rain in the last two weeks and the repair has held the water out. Since we plan to replace the roof next year this seems to be the best and easiest method to keep the water out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Leakseal We have an old apartment building with a rather flat metal roof. This stuff is wonderful... an application prior to the winter rains and it really does its job. I am very pleased with the product....in fact drove 40 miles one way to purchase it.

Plashed a little while spraying. 12oz is a little small amount. You go through a can rather fast. I used it to reseal around flashings on roof where vents come through. Easier than using a bucket or can of tar.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leakseal vs FlexSeal This product just does not seal well and is messy to work with. I have used FlexSeal in the past and Leakseal does not even come close to stopping a leak. I would suggest to Home Depot to consider carrying FlexSeal again.
