Can you use this paint on a plastic car bumper ?

Asked by: Smirkguy
Happy to help! Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Protective Enamels do not adhere directly to plastic surfaces. We recommend the use of an adhesion promoting primer first for proper bonding of the Protective Enamel to a plastic surface.

Can you use this product on epoxy control joint filler for concrete.

Asked by: Ryan
Thanks for your interest, Ryan! Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Satin Enamel can be applied over paintable joint filler; however, it is not recommended for foot or vehicle traffic. If you are trying to hide your expansion joints on your floor, it’s best to paint the floor and then fill the joints with a caulk that’s similar in color as the coating.

12 oz. Protective Enamel Satin Black Spray Paint is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from If you like a wrinkled uneven look go for it Got this paint to redo a bumper and the back spoiler on my SUV. I'm plenty experienced with spray paints from cheapies to higher grade and always had success so I grabbed this one as it fit the look I wanted. Both items had been sanded and primed. Doing the first pass over on the spoiler the left side looked perfect and the right side went straight into a semi wrinkled look. Went online to read and saw others had the same issue. Thinking I went to heavy I let it dry overnight, sanded it smooth and tried again. Same thing. Decided to try it on the bumper and even worse and far from having a smooth even finish. If you're doing stuff that doesn't have a flat surface it might work, but for this really basic simple job it was a complete fail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rust-Oleum spray paint Spray out door furniture, wrought iron, black, almost every season. Furniture is about six or seven years old. This year painted underside, too. Used 4 cans for 4 chairs, table, swing, two side tables, probably two to three coats. Works well, love that you don't have to prime. I'm 68 and handicapped. Took two days, but if I can do it, any one can. Dries to touch in about 3 hours. No clean up, used gloves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Finish! Was looking for a solution to fix my aging basketball pole next to my drive way. It had signs of surface rust and was becoming an eye sore. After reading some solutions online decided to give this paint a try. First sanded the pole down to remove as much rust as possible and then hit it with 3 coats of this. Neutralized the rust and gave the whole pole a nice consistent satin finish. Along with painting the back board and getting a new net, looks brand new! So much easier and cheaper than replacing the pole. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Paint I used this paint on a new windshield cab visor for my pickup. The paint went on real smooth and covered real well. I sprayed 3 coats (3/4 of the can)and I cant be happier with the results.
