Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DIYchick85 Awesome product - changed my kitchen entirely for low cost
This kit is fantastic. The instructions are thorough and well written, the product is high quality, and the whole system works great. My only issue was with the top coat, which I laid on a bit too heavily in places and got a few drips. I'll blame myself for that, not the product (maybe I should have watched the DVD that comes with the kit...). Regardless, I feel like this product gave my kitchen a makeover - for just a little bit of money and some hard labor (about 40 hours for 21 cabinets/drawers). I plan to do the bathrooms next!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DIYNewbieInTX Great Product! Kitchen looks brand new
I loved this product. It took me a while as I had a fairly large kitchen. The deglosser step takes quite some time and elbow grease but is very important. I used a different bond coat as I had heard bad things about the one supplied and it came out great. I also did 3 top bond coats for extra protection lightly sanding in between each. Huge difference.
In addition to raising the microwave to a manageable height, I added new cabinet pulls and spray painted the existing brass hinges with Rustoleum spray paint brushed nickel.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by H3rsh3kiss32 Time consuming but looks good
I am pleased with the color of this kit! However, attention to detail will go a LONG way. Be aware each coat has to dry about 2 hours and you have 6 coats per side plus the de-glossing/cleaning step. Be really careful not to let drips happen on the edges of your door fronts or you'll be sanding and starting your multiple hour waiting period over. I made a habit to put one coat on and 20 minutes later go back and check for drips in the corners/over the edges and it saved me multiple times. I only used about half this kit to do a large 80" vanity and I used the optional glazing step. I read enough reviews online that steered me clear of the top coat included in the kit and instead purchased Minwax Ployacrylic and am pleased with how that turned out so I would recommend skipping the topcoat in this kit even though I did not try it, I trust everyone else :-) Pleased with the outcome though!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ashley So Easy! Wonderful Product!!!
I first went and bought just a regular can of stain and was planning on sanding the cabinets and staining them that way. That lasted for about an hour before I went back and got this kit! It was so easy to do and looked absolutely amazing!!! I am not a do it yourself home owner kind of girl, but I did this!! I will be buying again for any other cabinet project!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handy Saved me thousands, kitchen looks new and completely different!
Easy to use, even for a first timer. Beautiful and sturdy color. Kitchen looks new and I ended up spending money on granite counter tops and back-splash tiles instead of cabinets, mine will last for decades as will this finish. Thanks Rustoleum!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Eric Great to remodel a kitchen at 1% of the cost of redoing one.
Great products - I have remodeled two kitchens with it and with a couple of hundred Dollars, I made them looks stunning. New hardware were also needed.
This product is a bit tricky to apply so make sure to watch the installation video DVD included to avoid any issues. I did not use the Glaze finish.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by cascade very good product
Its a little time consuming but i think its worth it. wasn't sure about the Glaze so i tried it on the inside of one of the doors and it just wasn't for me so i didn't bother with it. overall to me it turned out great and not to mention the amount of money it would have cost if i had it done professionally so i definitely recommend trying it out.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bonnie Time consuming but a great value!
Let me start by saying I was worried that any product I used that didn't require sanding would end up looking just like painted cabinets. While this is true, I am very pleased with the outcome and the "bang for my buck". Below are some tips I learned in the process.
1. The suggested drying time of several hours depending on which step you're on was not absolutely necessary for me, but this may be due to different room temperatures/humidity level. I simply waited until it was dry to the touch which was about 10 min. If I had followed the instructions it would have taken me weeks to complete.
It will definitely make your life easier to create a stand for your doors to set on so you can paint one side while the other is drying. I simply screwed some nails into some 2x4s like the tutorial shows (definitely watch the tutorial whether on YouTube or on the disk in the kit.
It recommends buying three brushes. I ended up buying about six of those thirty cent 2 inch foam brushes. TheY are great for getting in the nooks and crannies.
I'd gather plenty of paper towels or shop rags. The ones it comes with are not nearly enough.
3. DO NOT BOTHER USING THE DECORATIVE GLAZE. IT IS A WASTE OF TIME AND IS HONESTLY AN OUTDATED LOOK.
4. The final protective coat can be tricky. Make sure none of it drops down the side of the cabinet because it does NOT dry clear and will peel off the color if you try toremove it.
