Do not waste your time or money messing with this product. I have used many spray paints as I paint a lot of furniture! The trigger is extremely hard to use, is messy(got all over my hands) and takes a long time to get your job accomplished. I am very disappointed in Rustoleum that they would actually allow this. The paint itself probably is excellent. I think you would be much better off to purchase Rustoleum Painters touch 2X which is a great spray paint.

I have now used 6 cans of this and so far 2 had leaked at the trigger, 2 had to spray upside down in order to get the paint to come out. The company should have stayed with the older spray nozzle. It is terrible and I won't buy this again after I finish this project. Only if I had know I would have never started. DON'T BUY THIS TYPE OF SPRAY PAINT WITH THIS TRIGGER.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by disappointed So frustrating with the spraying nozzle and trigger
I use Rust-oleum Spray Paint for all of my spray paint needs. This new trigger nozzle is the worst! We have gone through 4 different cans of spray only to have the trigger either absolutely fail to even engage the spray or only spatters the object. We have followed the directions carefully and still very disappointed in the product. I saw an earlier post where the company offered the consumer other products that may meet their needs better. Are you serious???? Your spray can/trigger isn't working with over 3/4 of paint still in the can and you think we need to pick a better spray can? Not a great way to encourage us longtime customers to continue to use new products. Very disappointed and frustrated.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!! New nozzle design is a nightmare. Difficult to impossible to squeeze the trigger, clogs easily, sputters paint, ruins your project. NEVER AGAIN, it wasted my time and money. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED because i have always used Rustoleum

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by TRYDIY Very strong fumes - requires a lot of coats.
The paint was easy enough to use and I didn't have any clumping issues that were mentioned in previous comments. It did take me several cans to do a couple nightstands that were a birch finish. I did get better results on the second nightstand, but it's been over 10 days now and the fumes are still intense to the point that we cannot keep these nightstands in-doors.
I also cannot find information anywhere on if this needs a clear coat to seal the paint. I'm not sure if sealing it would also help with the fumes. Please provide this information on your website Rustoleum. I cannot recommend this product until I know more.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by DisappointedCan Terrible Sprayer Good Paint
Dissappointing product. Good (ish) paint, bubbled up (like oil as somebody else mentioned) in some spots. The spray mechanism is the worst of any spray paint I have ever used... ever. As it sprays, paint runs down the side of the can and drips everywhere, gets on your hands, etc. You can't adjust the nossle in any way either.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by knownway Poor Can Design
The paint seems to be nice - we're refinishing and repainting our patio table. We love the color. However, the design of the spray can is extremely frustrating. My husband wipes off the tip frequently as the can suggests, but it still clogs and won't spray anymore. And there is almost 1/2 of the can left, if not more. So we've wasted money on an entire can of paint and can't use 1/2 of it. Like I said, very poor design with the plastic top. Just a plain old spray can would do...

Took a whole can to cover up a 3'x3' piece of wood. It does Not cover plastic as stated on can. This kept sliding off the wood and bubbling up into little sections, kind of like oil and water in your salad dressing. One coat did not cover up a very light birch colored piece of wood and it took several coats and several hours of dry time between each coat
