1-Way Screw Remover/Installer Set (3-Piece) is rated 1.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only buy if you want to install The bits are good quality, however if you want to install one way screws with this bit make sure you apply a lot of pressure and go slow cause it slips very easily. Removing one way screws with this bit is impossible, it keeps slipping! DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT TO REMOVE ONE WAY SCREWS.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Well made. Installing screws works well. Removing screws nearly useless. I needed something to remove 1-way screws fastening a window guard. Apparently, 1-way screws are needed in NYC because those pesky kids are so determined to circumvent their own safety, they carry around screwdrivers. Now if by "remover", Ryobi means "strip the head to make it easier to use a screw extractor", the remover feature of this set works flawlessly. Removing a screw directly with this set is nearly impossible. The bit does not grip the sloped side (the loosening side) of the screw head. Rather it rides up the slope, shearing away a little of the screw at the same time. Apply pressure simply shears off more of the head. Only the loosest of screws will come off. In that regard, the Ryobi set is well made. The bits will shear a screw like nobody's business. Installing screws proceeds without a problem. For installation, recommended. For removing, steer clear.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Better than nothing At least I got the screws broken loose so I could get vice grips on the head to fully remove the screw. It kept slipping off. My main complaint is there are no instructions on how to use it. It comes with a sleeve guide that probably works OK, but just how to utilize it is a mystery.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked for me Needed to remove recently installed one-way screws (#8) that were put in with a fairly heavy hand. I used the remover in a hand driver with very firm pressure and they came right out with minimal damage to the screw head. I was able to reuse the screws.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not a daily use tool Product is rather cheap, luckily I only had one security door to remove and rehang. As a contractor tool use is how I make my money. This tool started to loose its gripping edge after two screws, was barely able to get through door removal. I don't mind ryobi tools ,but this isn't one I would recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Installer maybe remover no way Purchased to remove one way screws from window gate, wont catch screws to unscrew. To install seemsto work great but a flat head screw driver would do just the same this would just allow you to torque them in.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not so much I bought this for a big job and it didn't work on one screw. I couldn't get it to bite no matter how hard I pushed. It seemed like it would gladly tighten my one-way screws, but forget about removing them. I don't know what to use, so I guess I will just grind them off. Also, ABSOLUTELY NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE IT...why is that? Maybe it seems intuitive to the manufacturer, but why use a sleeve that seems to serve no real purpose.
