CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 49 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Better luck the second time around The first one I brought was not aligned right out of the box. I tried and tried and nothing worked to get it aligned. I finally exchanged it for another one, hoping this one would be aligned. It was not. However, I did manage to align this saw the second time around pretty close to perfect. I must note that the saw sounds way different when turning it off as it sounds like a knocking sound but everything underneath is in tact. The riving knife plate holder was out of alignment even when adjusting the bolts. I placed a piece of folded up tape as a spacer and it does better when cutting so as to not ruin the cut. Overall, quality is good for a beginning woodworker. I also built an extension table to the right to get a longer rip cut to the right. April 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great DIY Saw! All you ever hear when you buy a cheap tool is "you get what you pay for." Well, there are certainly parts of this saw that make you think, "yep, what I expected". Those include: -The stand is very difficult to assemble. Holes don't align properly. -The body of the stand is very flexible plastic. Not near as sturdy as you'd want -The handle for the wheel to adjust the blade height installs poorly and is very wobbly. That being said...there are a lot of things about this saw that you'd never expect for $129. The saw cuts perfectly. Rip cuts, cross cuts, beveled or not, are all precise and smooth. I've seen several people mention the rip fence being hard to level, but I haven't had any problems with it. The one thing that was slightly irritating at first was that there is a slight height change from the end of the throat plate to the end of the saw body. It requires a slight lifting of the already cut end of the board to continue all the way through. Once I'd been through a few pieces I was doing it without thinking about it though. I'd highly recommend this saw to anyone looking to use it for weekend projects and not wanting to spend $300-$500. April 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good saw Great price! Very easy to put stand together. Excellent saw for the money. Definitely a hobbiests tool. Pros need not apply. blade was square out of the box and squaring the fence was very easy and accurate. Spent all weekend ripping and crosscuting plywood and 2X4's. Accurate and square cuts every time. Made me look like a rock star to my wife while remodeling sons room. Great learner saw. My only complaint would be to table top size, but considering the price it was well worth it! February 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Table saw Bought this saw foe general work inside and outside the house, also for hobbies. I removed the through cut devise and did not install the safety gard and kick back plate, used these saws for many years. Remove from bow, followed easy instructions to assemble which took about 20 minutes. I squared the blade and that was it. Used it many times with no issues at all thus confused by some of the reviews. For a low end saw it does the job. February 24, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mediocre at Best Bought this about 6 months ago to complete a project. Squaring the blade to the miter slots was difficult. Squaring the fence to the blade was pretty easy. The blade comes out of 90 degrees a lot. The height adjustment knob hits the bevel lock lever every time you move it, so eventually, if not constantly readjusted, the blade comes loose and puts a bevel to your work. Eventually I had to use a Dremel to take away material to prevent the bevel from unlocking. Today, for the first time, I took a straight edge to the table, and found it's not flat. This was a measurement that incorporated the parts of the table that should be absolutely flat. If you have to buy this saw, then that's one thing. If you can squeeze a little more out of the budget, I recommend a better saw. January 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great little saw! This little thing has some power! If I used it constantly I might go for the biggest better product, but for me it works great, saws good, love the color. Quite loud, but I use my ear muffs and it's all good! February 3, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to start This is my first table saw and first experience with one, I bought this a couple months ago and for the price it's fantastic. I don't do any major construction this is simply for learning and hobby purposes in my case but even without prior experience it's high and low points are fairly clear. Motor seems nice and strong, so far no bogging down on any cuts (even multiples), Table is a bit on the small side when cutting long 2x4's, and the legs are a bit too light, (when I turn it on the whole saw jumps and moves roughly 1/2-1 inch) otherwise it's stable on a flat surface. Fence is a real pain to get straight but it's solid and accurate. Safety equipment is fantastic. My only real concern is the assembly for the blade seems very flimsy and easy to damage ( not sure if this is upgradeable). But overall it does everything I need it to without any issues and with a little bit of knowledge, the small things wrong with this could be easily polished out, but for the price this is exactly what I needed. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Prety Good This is about the cheapest table saw one can buy, so I wasn't expecting too much. I am pleasantly surprised. The build quality is good, and it does its job. There are cheaper table saws in other stores (Harbor Freight, for example), but they are not as good, and Ryobi are decent make. February 3, 2015
