The worst drill i ever bought. the batteries last for only minutes, and they take 10+ hours to charge to get only minutes of service.
They give you two batteries, so you will get enough time to screw maybe 12 2" screws into wood.
Avoid this product at all costs. You have been warned.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by kasp I purchased this drill for light duty use around the home and office (i.e. attaching keyboard trays to desks etc) and there is more than enough power in a 12 V to get these types of jobs done! A perfect in between for the person who is not a professional but needs more than an electric screwdriver and at a good price also.

A good small drill perfect for my son - so he won't always borrow mine now that he is a home owner. It came already charged and was in a small carrying case which was great. Made a great Christmas gift. My only issue was the delivery - they only tried once to deliver to our house and then we had to drive 30 minutes to pick it up.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dick Charge time wrong
Literature with drill says 10 hrs charge time, not 60 min.
Have you ever wondered how a Toyota Prius gets a 100K miles on a set of NiCD's and your drill seems to get only a few miles. The problem is the cheap chargers that they provide. These chargers do not turn off when the battery is fully charged which causes the battery to overheat and degrade. Buying an intelligent charger can save a battery and quickly pay for itself which is why I bought a smart charger for my 18V Ryobi batteries. Not only do they charge in 60 min but the batteries do not degrade.
The moral of this is do not buy the NiCD version of this 12V drill for $49. but the $79. lithium version. It comes with the C120D smart charger, a $40. value.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Diy123 Do not buy!! Horrible battery life and no power.
I purchased this drill a few months a ago to replace and older one that had died. This drill is a huge dissapaapointment. This one won't tackle even the simplest of projects. i tried hanging a simple closet shelf...which consisted of three screws and had to charge the battery half way through. Two inch screws into a stud are too much for this drill. If you need to use a drill bit, forget it they don't lock in properly and pull out of the drill. Which is a ton of fun if it is half way into to a wall. i have owned several drills and this is by far the worst.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Anne A great little drill
This is a great drill for the little projects that I need to do around the house. If you're looking to do big projects, you may need something more powerful, but this is good for everyday uses. I also like the compact size and light weight. It comes with two batteries, so one can be charging while the other is in use. The soft case makes it so convenient to pack up and keep everything together.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nivek Ok drill for very light duty
It's ok for very light duty task around the house but that's really about it, more of an electric screw driver then a drill really, the battery dies quickly and takes to long to recharge, for $50 A cheap 18v from HF or an actual electric screw driver would be a much better deal. If you need an actual drill spend a little more and get an entry level 18v. This thing would be a good deal for $20 and that's about it
