Hey Donielle. Although this model is no longer available, we released a replacement model AG4031G which is currently sold through the Home Depot website. The amperage and volt on this unit compared to our new model are the same (120 volt & 5.5 amps). Link Reference:

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 54 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Angle Grinder! I use this Angle Grinder almost daily. Works great for sharping mower blades or cutting small concrete blocks, Used to smooth welds, along with cutting old rusty bolts. Works great I've had no trouble with it! September 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It is easy to work with and operates flawlessly. The motor is powerful and all of the features are correct. I have had it for a month or so and have used it on two projects: cutting stone and cement board for a large fireplace, and cutting steel cable for cable railings. It worked well on both. I keep it and accessories in an old tool bag I had for my old Harbor Freight grinder, which finally failed. This is an upgrade in power and a worthy successor. Looks as good as the higher priced choices. January 14, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for the money and can be carefully used for tougher jobs This tool saved us about $1,400 when we re-roofed our home. We had our house re-roofed recently and the contractor wanted $1,500 to remove and haul away the old roof. We decided that we'd do this ourselves and save some money, so out came the Ryobi angle grinder. We decided to cut the roof into 4' squares to make it easier to drop into the dumpster to haul away. The roof had been re-sealed multiple times since the house was built in the 1940's the material was 2" thick in places and comprised of hot mopped rolled felt and then a layer of bitumen with stones on top. We bought a 4 1/2" diamond blade to go in the grinder so it would handle the stone and I have to say that I was impressed by the durability of this budget grinder. I would say that if you wanted to run it professionally (ie to do the roof in one morning with a crew), this would probably overheat quite quickly however we were able to work in 4' squares which allowed the grinder to cool between cuts as we removed the old roofing material between cuts. We also had to let the blade cool as once warm, it would melt the bitumen and this would gum up the blade until the bitumen cooled down enough for us to peel it out of the blade shield. It made the majority of the cuts without any problems and in the end, as we were about 3/4 of the way through the job, the brushes in the motor expired and it stopped working so we went to Home Depot and bought another Ryobi grinder. We've since bought new brushes online and the old grinder is back in service. Even going through two diamond blades and one grinder, we were still about $1,400 ahead on the alternative so it gets a big thumbs up in my book. We had previously used the grinder to flatten out some high spots in a concrete slab before laying a carpet and also to cut wire fence clips when we removed a chainlink fence from the hard and it didn't have any issues with grinding concrete or cutting metal using the thinner cutting wheel. We did find that the wheel collar that comes with the grinder was too big for the thinner cutting wheels (the wheels are still free to rotate when fully tightened) so we added a large round washer under the collar and this fixed the problem. What I really appreciate about this model is that the blade shield can be adjusted allowing it to be used at virtually any angle. The only feature that would make it any better would be a variable speed control, but you really can't expect that for this price! If you just want a reliable, basic grinder to use once in every while around the home, this is the tool for the job. July 16, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ryobi Angle Grinder Unstable while grinding. Center of gravity to the switch and handling area to close. December 14, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for the price I didn't want to spend a bunch of money, and this unit works very well at a very reasonable price. Two comments: (1) the main handle is fairly thick, not sure how easy it would be to grip for a small-handed person (but I'm not sure than any other grinders are better in this regard); (2) the switch seems to go very easily from off to "locked on," though I think there is a mode for "on while depressed" in the middle of the switch movement. Just be careful if you're using it in "locked on" mode. I've only used it on one project so far, but right now I'm happy with the purchase. The instructions lack any illustrations, but it's not hard to figure out the minimal assembly. September 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hard worker for the price I do a lot of welding and I always set up two angle grinders. One for grinding and one for wire wheeling slag. In the past I had spent three times the a mount of money on other grinders and decided to give the lesser expensive one a shot. I've been using this grinder for two years now and it works just as well as the more expensive ones. Even if it wore out in a year it would be okay at the price, but it hasn't. I'm very satisfied with it for my application and one of these days I'll pick up one or two more. The thing is, the more expensive grinders had to be replaced every couple of years and I have yet to replace this one. I also use it for my cut off wheels and it works great for those, too! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not last I bought this as a second grinder for work outside. If it got wet or lost no big deal. I used it once for less than an hour working on my trailer grinding some welds and making some small cuts through 1/2" angle steel. On my 3rd cut the RMP's dropped to almost nothing and the barrel became extremely hot. After I stopped it, it would not start again. Spend the extra money and buy something that will last more than an hour. July 14, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by grinder disk stuck on It worked great but when it came time to remove the grinding disc it is stuck on. I will take it back to the store and see if they can get it off, I could not do it it requires you to hold down a button to lock it in place and the a key to remove the disc. It stuck on way to tight for me to get off. I may just have a odd problem with this unit. I like their other power tools I bought at the Home Depot. June 6, 2014
