Is this Ryobi Circular 71/4 saw brand new?

Does it have lazer guide as most of them do?
Asked by: Tallron
I did got a used one days ago, when I ordered it online and pickup at store. I got home and found the box had been opened before, and saw was covered with saw dust. Well, that's not a the problem, but when I searched the box inside, I couldn't find the blade wrench. I had to back to the store and ask for a change, that's really a waste of time.

how much does this weigh?

How much does this saw weigh? I can't believe they don't include one of the most important specs! I'm looking for a light circular saw, my DeWalt is supposed to be light (8.9lbs) but it's pretty heavy, IMO.
Asked by: JoeKing23244
This saw weighs seven pounds.

13-Amp 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 98.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought for small jobs around the house. New to using a circular saw but a YouTube video got me going in the right direction. Very easy to use setup and for the price. Feel well built for light to medium work. This will be a great asset to have going forward.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eccellent little saw I picked up this little 7 1/4 saw because I wanted a backup while building our off grid cabin on my great grandparents home quarter. Anyhow this little saw has been going steady for 2 weeks. It has cut through everything we feed it! 2x10's 2x4's 1/2 sheets of plywood...ect! Anyone that says this saw stalls is forcing it. It has never stalled on me. This little saw cut all the 2x6's in our 22x40 cabin. Along with the 2x4's on the inside walls and a lot of the plywood for the outside outer walls. For the sheets of plywood I did switchover to a Diablo replacement blade. Other than that its a excellent little saw. My friend is a professional contractor with saws 5 times the price with high end blades. He told me that he was very impressed with this little saw. This saw has paid for itself 10 times over! For the average carpenter it's all you need!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! Used exclusively for stone cutting so far I bought this to use for cutting Unilock wall block for a DIY wall project. I have the Ryobi one+ circular saw but it's a smaller blade and I honestly thought whatever I used on the wall project would get burned out by the time I was done. So I actually bought this with the intention of using it once. I also bought the Avanti Pro 7 in. Turbo Diamond Blade to go with it. At $55 total it was still less than renting a stone saw and it gave me flexibility on the time I took to complete the job. So being a "throw away" saw didn't feel so bad. Not only did it complete my project with ease, I loaned it to a friend who used it to make all the edge cuts on a 20X20 Unilock paver patio. Probably 100+ paver cuts. And for what it's worth that was still with the original blade, which was a bonus. After all that it still works and looks good as new! Never bogged down on cutting stone, but make sure you have the right blade for the job, with the right blade it should be powerful enough for most things.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Worth The Price I bought this saw today because I left my other one at another jobsite yesterday and needed a cheap replacrment. My two complaints are: 1) doesn't cut straight; 2) very under powered as I tried to cut a 3/8 inch rip cut on a hollow door. Also, the way dusy exits is terrible! Shoots dust up instead of out!

It was really easy to assemble and ready for use, it did what I needed it to do. Since it will be used for just around the house light projects it was the perfect fit and couldn't beat the price.
