Answer:
Yes. Every chainsaw I've had leaked bar oil. In addition everyone I know with chainsaws has the same "problem". It's normal and only a problem from a cleanliness point of view.

Answer:
Hi Grass1, it is normal to see some leakage if oil is left in the saw to lower the amount you can loosen the cap to alleviate the pressure or simply drain the oil before storing the saw. Hope that helps!

Howdy Grow1,
Here are some things that you might need to consider:
In the autumn, choose large tulip bulbs from your garden center, grocery store, or flower shop. The larger the bulb, usually the bigger the bloom. Remember, bulbs need a specific amount of cold-sleepy time. Most tulips need between 12-15 weeks.
1) Buy potted bulbs from the grocery store, flower store, or garden center. Choose ones that have not bloomed yet.
2) Empty the pot, and gently shake off all the loose soil from the bulbs, all the while, protecting the tender roots.
3) Rinse each sprouting bulb under cool water to wash away the soil.
4) Trim roots to 2 inches long with scissors and place in glass vase with glass beads.
Each variety can vary. You can buy your bulbs and then place them in your refrigerator or this amount of time. A garage fridge is a great option. Always chill for the recommended time and never less. Chilling for less time will result in zero blooms.
Now that your bulbs have been chilled the minimum amount of time, take them out of the fridge. Gather together a tall vase, some glass beads and your bulbs. Place a handful or two of glass beads in your glass vase. Arrange the bulbs, pointed side up, on top of the glass beads. Place another handful or two of additional glass beads around the bulbs.
Fill water in the vase to just under the bottom of the bulbs. You do not want the water to touch the base of the bulbs. Place in a room with bright, indirect sunlight and watch the bulbs grow! Roots will work their way down through the glass beads into the water. Be sure to keep the water always at an optimal level.
"Did you buy new chain oil recently...? if so, did you get electric chainsaw chain oil by mistake?" The electric chain oil is a LOT thinner than regular chain oil, could be a factor.
A small amount is normal, thats just whats sitting in the chain oiler mechanism when you switch off. The bar has no oil seal where it matches up to the oiler passage, so some seeps out. Sit the saw on some cardboard to catch the drips.
Happy Growing,
Coach Dave

Does it come filled with chain oil. Or do you have to buy it separately.

Hello Djg0921. Never fell a tree or cut a log or limb that has a diameter greater than the length of the guide bar. In this case it would be nothing greater than 14 inches. Thanks for your question.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by CHAIN JUMPS OFF EVERY TIME PLASTIC SPROCKET COVER NEEDS METAL INSERT TO KEEP FROM SLIPPING. ANOTHER DESIGN NEVER TRIED IN THE FIELD. POOR ENGINEERS TO MARKETING. WILL BE GREAT WHEN I FIX IT. LIGHT AND POWERFUL. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Likes - Cuts like a gas saw just no pulling a cord, no vibration and no fuel. Battery last longer than expected but for extended use more than one battery is a must. I have two. Low maintenance. Always ready for work. Dislikes - Blade seems thin and kinda light duty. First saw didn't work (replaced no problem and replacement works great). I have cut trees up to 12" in diameter and used saw to de-limb and saw up said trees. If given the choice between using this saw or a gas saw of similar size I would pick this saw anytime. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it I cut up 5 pine trees plus some other small trees with no problem. I just love my new toy. Tomorrow I start again cleaning up after Hurricane Mathew. Just got my electricity back today. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great piece of equipment! The cordless chain saw is remarkable. And as a part of a series of cordless yard tools which can all be powered by a single 40-volt battery, I am thrilled. No hassles with trying to start a 2 cycle motor, no mixing oil and gas, no dragging a 200 foot electric cord and hoping I don't cut it in half. I have a one acre yard - nothing too big and challenging, but it is surrounded by a woods and the 3 and 4 inch thick weeks that are trying to become trees are easily taken out with the cordless chainsaw. Highly recommend! September 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lame Although I absolutely love the weed whacker, hedge trimmer, and leaf blower, I cannot recommend this chainsaw. I can cut through branches at least 1 inch with a pruner so got this for larger branches or the occasional small landscape tree. I probably only made about 30 cuts with this chainsaw before the drive for the chain vibrated apart and I tossed it in the trash. Going through the hassle of trying to fix such a light duty piece of equipment seems a waste of my time and money, so I bought a real gas powered chainsaw so I don't have to worry about it breaking so easily and I have the plus that I can cut like ten times faster :-) August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chain Saw It is easy to use, you couldn't use it on large trees. It fits our needs. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First Time Owner I never owned a chain saw before and I was apprehensive about using one, but this battery powered saw delivered enough oomph for the job and did not overwhelm me. I own other tools in the Ryobi 40 volt series so I was not worried about quality. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chainsaw great tool Excellent couldn't be happier. Preformed better than hoped for. September 30, 2016
