The motor may be fairly powerful, but that's about all you can say. The mitre gauge is not precise and there is considerable slop in the mitre slot. The mitre slots themselves are not standard width, so no accessories will fit, and they are not even a consistent width with themselves so a crosscut sled, for instance, will either have slop or will jam and not push through smoothly. The fence has to be measured carefully before every cut, because it won't lock perpendicular to the blade unless you take the time to do it yourself, nudging the back and front by fractions of an inch to get it straight. Good table saws can't be made this cheaply. If you can't afford a better one, save up, or get one used.

This is my second table saw I bought the same model several years ago. I like the new construction as it is lighter and easier to transport. Instead of using bolts to mount the saw to the base, I used clamps for easy removal for transportation. I used 2x4 blocks on the underside of the base holes to make the clamps fit better. This is a very nice saw for the money I consider it a great value. The only thing I had to do was bend the cut guide at the end of the blade to align with the cut.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Jeff You get what you pay for, and I shouldn't have paid for this
The saw itself is great, it's got plenty of power and it performs. It's all of the other parts that I have problems with. The mitre guide is difficult to keep locked on any degree and there's TONS of play in the track so you kind of have to push the guide to either side while using it which is fantastically dangerous. I had to make my own mitre guide. The fence regularly comes out of alignment and has to be constantly readjusted. Rather than screwing with new washers and loctite I made my own fence for it. The table top on mine is 0.3 degrees out of alignment with the saw. I removed the table top and made my own. I'm giving this a 2 rather than a 1 since the saw itself is good and replacing the table top was fairly painless. If it's all you can afford, as was my case, it's not the worst table saw. If you can afford a better one, get a better one.

THE SAW WORKS GREAT. TAKES A LITTLE WORK TO GET SET UP, BUT AFTER THAT IT WORKED GREAT. THIS IS NOT A COMMERCIAL SAW, BUT VERY PRACTICAL FOR THE DIY HOME OWNER OR ONCE IN AWHILE USER. DOES A VERY GOOD JOB AND EASY TO USE.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dms Great Value for the monies spent...
Easy to build, as a first time user of this type of equipment, was not certain how much of a time saver it would turn out to be... It has made cutting big items a snap... sure throws a lot of sawdust, so wearing goggles is a must... If you are teetering on the edge of whether or not to get this item, do it, you will not regret it...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sebastian C Solid saw, does the job
For this price it does a perfect job. Purchased mine last week and used it to install hardwood on the main floor. Comes set up right out of the box, except for the stand. Didn't need to correct saw angles. It was easy to use, powerful and I got accurate cuts. Only minus is the miter gauge, which is made of plastic and is not very sturdy. Not sure about long term use. Only had it for a week and used it once but its worth the price.
