Customer Questions & Answers

how long will it run on one charge

will it run for 20 minutes on one charge
Asked by: madi
Run time greatly depends on what speed you are running the Jet Fan Blower on - the higher the speed, the lower the run time. Keeping that in mind, the Jet Fan Blower should run for 20 minutes with the included battery. Thank you for your question!

Can this also move leaves in the yard?

Literature states good for decks, patios, driveways, etc. Is this strong enough to move leaves into a pile in the yard for bagging? I also get lots of pecans and acorns on my sidewalk and patio. I assume this would blow these off also.
Asked by: TexasM
Hello TexasM! This is specially engineered for hard surfaces and smaller yards. Hope this helps and thanks for your question.

I have the ryobi grass edger trimmer with a plug in type battery.....

Wondering if I can interchange plug in batteries for battery pack.
Asked by: rusty
All of our 40V RYOBI products use the same 40V batteries and chargers: the high capacity 40V battery (model OP4026A), the slim pack 40V battery (model OP4015A), and the 40V lithium-ion charger (model OP400A). At this time, there is not a plug-in-type battery that is compatible with our 40V system. Thank you for your question!

About a month ago, I upgraded from a Toro corded blower, hesitantly, because I believed the power wouldn't be there. I was wrong, and this wonder literally blows away the competition. I like the nozzle because it allows me to get into the crevices of the walkways. The battery makes it easy to finish the job of my entire property in one charge. This blower met my expectations, exceeded them actually, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a cordless leaf blower. It's so easy to use my 4-year-old Great Nephew did it for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great for blowing leaves out of my roof gutters. I needed something to clear the fall leaves from my roof gutters. Normally I scoot/crawl around the roof reaching my hand in the gutter to clean out the leaves. This takes a long time and is hard on my pants and hands. The plan was to use this to blow the leaves out of the gutters without having to actually get down on the shingles. It works as expected.....wonderful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Meets my requirements For blowing sidewalks, driveways, etc. this product works well. Battery per charge life is limited, but sufficient for doing above. Not powerful enough for blowing leaves on lawns. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

As I age, starting gas powered lawn equipment Is difficult, so this battery operated leaf blower works great for me. Powerful enough to get the job done and recharges quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than Gas! I must say I was somewhat skeptical from reading the reviews on here for this product but purchased it anyway as I already had the 40V Ryobi Trimmer/Edger which is an excellent product. I must say it exceeded my expectations. I notice NO difference in power from my gas blower or any other gas blower I have owned. It uses only 1/2 of the battery for my yard and It even blows wet leaves with no problem. It is way lighter and the best part is that I can use it anytime without the mess of mixing gas and getting exhaust fumes all over myself. EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT Product! Now I would like to see Ryobi make one that also vacuums like Black and Decker does.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exceptional battery life I have worn out several B&D 18V blowers, and had been disappointed in the quality and battery life. The 40V battery on this blower lasts many times longer, and I rarely need to charge it. The quality seems fine but time will tell. I have two minor complaints. First - the unit is heavy compared to the B&D, but the extra weight is clearly in the battery. That's not a fault, but just a heads-up for people who may not want something that heavy. Second - the variable speed trigger is more of a negative than a positive in my mind. I would rather just turn the thing on and not have to hold down a trigger. With the extra weight of the blower, it just adds to the fatigue factor.
