I am coming from a corded 20" mower, which I loved, but wanted to try a cordless to see if it was faster, easier. I bought another cordless, but it weighed 100lbs - exhausting for maneuvering - even with self propelled. This one is SUPER light for turns and maneuvering around shrubs, etc. This one is 16" and means I have to make 25% more passes - the front end is about 13" and the rear is 16". Not a workhorse - battery drains for higher grass or good, thick St. Augustine in Texas. If you mow every 5-6 days, you're good, anything else - more work, battery runs out. Cuts big 1" chunky pieces, not a fine mulch - must bag if more than 6 days growth - extra work and trash bags. Does not cut St. Augustin crawlers - see pic. Battery charges fast, but drains fast - I had to buy an additional battery $$$$ to get through my front yard in one session. Good for tiny condo yard or a smallish yard with Bermuda grass or weedy grass - not for a good, healthy LAWN. It is light and you can go pretty fast, but I'm not happy with it overall. It's not very powerful, so you don't get a really clean cut lawn, just a passable looking result. I'm not gonna mow 5 times a month to make this a good mower...

I have been mowing lawns on my own for 20+ years. I'm a short gal and have used gas and electric corded mowers. I'm sick of them ALL. So I decided to be done with the gas and electric cords and try something new. I purchased the leaf blower with this so that I could have the charger and battery as well for the lawn mower-it was worth it because the other 2 components on their own were just as expensive. So I get the lawn mower home yesterday, and my grass was in such bad shape. It's May now and the very first time I've even begun to look at the lawn. No joke-it was at a minimum of 6 inches of outgrowth. This little bad boy cut threw it like a hot knife through butter. Make sure your battery is fully charged for a 1/2 acre lawn. I used the highest setting-and to date I have never seen a mower have such GREAT clearance for an overgrown lawn. What a solid product. Just amazing.

Goodbye heavy, smelly, noisy, gas guzzling, polluter! Just right to mow my 250 sq.yd. lawn twice on a charge. This machine is light, quiet, mulches or not, and makes mowing a bit more enjoyable. It has very simple features and controls.

I have the mower and complimentary edger. I got battery and charger with the edger, so I ordered the mower without charger and battery on line since the store didn't carry it. I used the same battery to edge, then put it in the mower and mowed our yard on the same charge. My wife even likes it! She couldn't get our old gas mower started, let alone push it around our sloped yard. The mower is so light my wife can even mow and she just has to grab the handle to start it. No cords. One grab handle sets the mower height like shifting my hot rod! Super easy! Charge the battery when done and its ready to go next time, no delays! It folds up with quick release handles and I store in a little corner in the garage.

I ended up having to buy this mower because the one with batteries was out of stock. I also purchased the blower and trimmer to get the batteries. Good news is I now have 2 chargers and 2 batteries. I have a pretty small lot, with maybe 0.1 acre of grass.
The first time I used the mower, the grass was pretty long as I did not have a mower and the previous owner did not mow recently. This mow took over 3 battery charges to get through.
The second time I mowed, a couple days later, the grass wasn't as long, but a bit damp. This mow took over 1 battery to get through as well.
I was hoping to get the (tiny) yard mowed on a single charge, but that doesn't seem like it will happen. Perhaps bagging would be slightly more efficient?
I am on the highest height of the mower, which is 2.75". I wish it at least went to 3".
The mower is simple and light enough that my wife can use it to mow as well, which was a bonus going for electric.
One complaint I have is that the quick-release knobs stick out a bit from the side on the handle, so it is a bit difficult to get close to the wall (or my neighbors picket fence).
