Does the handle allow you to lock in in the "on" position? I don't have the hand strength to continuously hold the activation lever.

Like when you pump gas, you can compress the handle and lock it until the tank is full; which model(s) have this feature?

Yes, the machine itself is small. I fit it in a Jeep Liberty without an issue when I bought it. If the box is too big, remove it and break the box down and take it all home that way inc ase you need to return it.

I'm looking to potentially get an extender wand for my dad's Ryobi 1700psi. I found one that goes up to 9ft but says it's an M22 nozzle connection. I do not see any specs hinting at this size on this model's specs document. Can I use an M22 extender on this spray gun? If not, are there any available extender wands for this model? I'm looking for around 6' long.

Hi FCon,

Extension wands connect between the gun and the wand.
Unfortunately, this pressure washer uses a bayonet style connection between the gun and the wand that is not compatible with most extension wands.
The other factor to consider is the relatively low volume and pressure that the unit produces. This severely limits the pump's ability to lift the water.
Extension wands that replace the entire gun and wand telescope to great heights, but require more flow to do so. Here is an example of the telescoping lance: http://www.homedepot.com/p/AR-North-America-Telescoping-Lance-ARTEL-18/203560156

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fabulous Pressure Washer! This is an amazing little machine! I bought it this Spring to clean my 600 sq ft patio slab to prepare it for paint. It was easy to set up, and I had it up and running in minutes. This is a powerful machine and was just what I needed. The turbo tip cleaned the patio quickly and perfectly and it made me want to clean everything! I just used it to clean my front stoop and sidewalk and it took no time at all! I cleaned the driveway too but that took a bit longer, but it hadn't been cleaned in many years and was covered in gook! I haven't used it with any solution yet (only water on the turbo setting) and I'm looking forward to cleaning the siding of my house in the near future. June 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best one I've used Simply and easy to use. Powerful for it's size and delivered more than I expected. May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product This little guy has good power. Just take a few moments and roll out the hose. It tends to kink. I used it to wash and 20 year old wood fence and didnt "destroy" the wood. Also wash a gazebo that was grey with dirt tirned it back to pretty again May 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ryobi 1700 PSI electric power washer Great purchase that exceeded our expectations! The photos speak for themselves May 1, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Plastic Couplings I once would have given this pressure washer a 5 star rating. It was strong enough to power wash the deck when repainting and gentle enough to clean the car. But after owning it for a couple of years and using it infrequently, a plastic part coupling the hose to the gun broke and nearly seriously injuring my nephew who was using it. The hose flew past his head at high speed, just missing him. Ryobi used to have a reputation for quality products, but not any more. Using cheap plastic parts in place of brass fittings at high pressure points is how people get hurt and Ryobi loses customer support. Bad move. Its not worth getting the pressure washer fixed with more plastic parts that will break, so I'll shift brands. June 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent purchase! This is a fantastic pressure washer, especially considering the price! I bought this specifically to clean the exterior of my house and get it ready for painting. It worked wonderfully! My house is both Austin stone (a very rough cut limestone) and vinyl siding. This pressure washer worked great on both surfaces. I was having so much fun using it that I also washed the front porch and half of the sidewalk before it got too dark to see. The pressure washer requires assembly, but it's very simple and quick. I had it out of the box, put together, hooked up to the hose, and in use in about 10-15 minutes. I used it for at least four hours straight, and it worked perfectly the whole time. You do have to spray very close to get the maximum amount of cleaning power. I held the nozzle no more than 6 inches away (and sometimes closer for the really dirty areas) from the house/sidewalk, and it cleaned very well. To get the high places on the house (I have a one-story house, and I'm only five feet tall), I used a ladder. It worked just fine, and I was able to easily reach the high areas. Just be aware that you won't get a lot of spraying power once you get more than about 12 inches or so away from the surface, which means that this pressure washer probably isn't a great choice for spraying the second story of a two-story house, unless you're willing to climb a tall ladder to get close enough. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Compact unit for light duty use I was very hesitant to purchase an electric pressure washer, but it served my purpose. I used it to clean a (very) dirty wood deck; it took a (very) long time, but it did a good job. If I now use it once/twice a year to clean the deck, it won't take near as much time. It fits well in my cramped garage, and was easy to clean up. I just don't need a gas washer, don't have space for it, don't want to spent the money, and dislike to hassle of borrowing one. It took much longer to use than a more powerful gas washer, but it also did not wear out my arms, cut into the wood, or do damage to anything nearby. I had no problems putting the unit together and the wand has held up well. May 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love it We used this today. It did great but 2 things. We tried to connect two hoses together and it was just to much distance. We used the 50 ft hose alone and reached what we needed finally. The 2nd problem we encounter was the hose would not come unscrewed when we were done. After several minutes we found that the connection turns right when you are in front of machine. This does not make sense. Lefty loosely does not apply. Other than that it was fine. June 11, 2016
