Rated 5 out of 5Â by domii Best pressure washer under $200 I've seen
After going through 2 Karchers in the last two years, and reading the reviews on all the other under $200 Pressure washers available at the major retailers, that all look like the came from the same factory in China, I decided to give this Ryobi a try.
Pretty impressive machine so far. And cheap considering what you get, very good quality parts and well engineered, very close to a good commercial gas powered machine.
I like that it comes with 3 nozzles, and everything has a place on this machine. An actual detergent tank rather than some cheap plastic tube.
The all-aluminum pump sold it for me, I hope it lasts longer than what I've experienced with others that have the plastic pumps, that always seem to crack and leak.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Tudval Good design
After owning 3 such machines in the past 5 years and having different issues that were too costly to repair, I researched most units on the market and came across this affordable little machine that seems to address all of my concerns. While I cannot vouch for durability, the two accessories most likely to break, the wand and the pressure hose, have standard couplings that makes them easy and cheap to replace with generic parts (they do break, especially in cold weather, and most manufacturers only guarantee them for 90 days).
Only used it a couple of times and it performed well, there's enough pressure to handle any job for the average homeowner and the bonus Turbo Nozzle is great for cleaning cedar decks or washing the car.

This Ryobi feels solid and well engineered.
I would recommend to the engineers however to have quick connects on the hose (the one in the back is hard to reach) and to have a removable detergent dispenser. There is no way to empty it if you want to use another type of detergent.
I have used a 1500 psi 1.3 gpm washer. This 1700 psi 1.2 gpm Ryobi does a much nicer job and, on cleaning the deck boards again, they were twice as clean as the job done by the other washer. It also cleaned a deck chair that the other could not.
It is nice that it takes standard nozzle tips.
I love the design. It is easy to roll up the hose and electrical cable, easy to move it, and it would be difficult to tip over.
For the $169 price you get a 3 year warranty and can buy another year from home Depot for $15. Amazing! If you read other reviews you will notice some of other electric pressure washers are reported to have failed after a year or two.

After using for a few hours, I was ready to give this a 5/5, until I noticed oil leaking from the pump. Seems like a blown gasket or something. Not good. Returning this one.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Hurwizzle FANTASTIC Pressure Washer!!
Please watch my video review to see this pressure washer in action and read on for details.
My house has a big deck that's covered with a vinyl material, and thanks to many overhanging trees, it needs to be washed at least once a year. Last year, I rented an electric pressure washer from The Home Depot, but, this year, realized that buying one would be a much smarter investment. After doing some research online, the clear choice was the Ryobi 1700-PSI Electric Pressure Washer (1.2 GPM), so I purchased it. Without a doubt, I got a FANTASTIC pressure washer!
Setup was a snap, and operation couldn't be easier: plug it in, turn it on, and squeeze the trigger. The three included nozzles (15º, turbo, and soap) cover the spectrum of what I need for my deck, and I've been using the 15º nozzle primarily -- its high pressure, flat spray output cleans the vinyl without tearing it.
As an added bonus, this pressure washer requires no lubrication.
