Yes. I have used mine 3 times and noticed the leak last time. Going to find my receipt and see how good Home Depot's customer service is.

can I clean my driveway with this pressure washer? Thanks

Asked by: Nickolay
Yes. And I just bought the Homelite EZClean 1800 max PSI pressure washer accessory to clean my driveway. Not finished yet but up to now works like a champ. Cleans 12" at a time instead of just 2 or 3 inches. Works well with this Ryobi unit.

Does this machine have enough pressure to get the soap high enough to clean the siding and windows on a two story house

Asked by: jojo65
I have worked in a physician's office and learned that ladders, soap and water are a dangerous mix! Really. There are some things worth paying for. A professional power washer can hit that second floor and it won't cost as much as you might think. Just balk at the first bid and they'll offer to do it for less. Best of luck!

Easy to assemble with clear instructions. It's extremely easy to use & did a great job in cleaning my 20 year old driveway & sidewalks that had never been power washed. I sure it increased the value of my home plus the curb appeal improved! Not overwhelming power, but does just what I needed it to do. Great investment. I really like the power nozzle & hose that doesn't get tangled & the extention cord could be a bit longer, but used an extension cord. I've only used it once, but plan to make this usage more regularly. I love it! Oh.. and it's light weight & easy to move around..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous Pressure Washer! This is an amazing little machine! I bought it this Spring to clean my 600 sq ft patio slab to prepare it for paint. It was easy to set up, and I had it up and running in minutes. This is a powerful machine and was just what I needed. The turbo tip cleaned the patio quickly and perfectly and it made me want to clean everything! I just used it to clean my front stoop and sidewalk and it took no time at all! I cleaned the driveway too but that took a bit longer, but it hadn't been cleaned in many years and was covered in gook! I haven't used it with any solution yet (only water on the turbo setting) and I'm looking forward to cleaning the siding of my house in the near future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful pressure washer!! I purchased the RYOBI electric 1700 pressure washer yesterday and absolutely LOVE it!! it is soooo much better than the Karcher 1800 that I previously had. It is easier to move around and the pressure is greater and the spot area is larger. I finished a job in 1/4 the time as I would have with the other machine. I cleaned my sidewalk with just water and pressure and didn't have to use any soap nor other cleaners. I wasn't able to get the "before" picture to go through but was able to post the final pic. The sidewalk was black when I first started it. It only took me less than an hr. to complete this job.

It seems to do the job well. The spray hose is awkward as is the power cord, and even though it is on wheels, it is ungainly to move with the hose, spray hose, and power cord all connected. I have a feeling those issues would be present on any electric pressure washer, though, so I've given it four starts. I've only used it a few times, but it has done the job well. A few more nozzles would be nice, or at least room for more nozzles on board. Also, using the pump conditioner is very cumbersome, but again that is generic to pressure washers. I have many other Ryobi tools and they have been quite dependable and always adequate for the job, so I would recommend this pressure washer to homeowners and others with moderate requirements who don't want the noise, mess, and hassle of a gas-powered pressure washer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You should probably buy a gas washer I bought this electric washer for general use around the house. Also because I didn't want to fork out the extra $150+ for a gas option. For a few months it worked just ok, couldn't do anything quickly, but could do most of what I wanted it to. This evening I was using it to clean out my gutters. The coupling at the hose / gun broke. The washer sensed "low pressure mode" and started blasting the soap concentrate I have in it EVERYWHERE. Out the coupling AND the end of the gun. I couldn't shut it off. Now my house is covered in soap concentrate and I have a broken washer. I'm going to try and return this to the store and buy a 3,100 psi gas model. Should have known I would end up with it in the end.
