This is an amazing little machine! I bought it this Spring to clean my 600 sq ft patio slab to prepare it for paint. It was easy to set up, and I had it up and running in minutes. This is a powerful machine and was just what I needed. The turbo tip cleaned the patio quickly and perfectly and it made me want to clean everything! I just used it to clean my front stoop and sidewalk and it took no time at all! I cleaned the driveway too but that took a bit longer, but it hadn't been cleaned in many years and was covered in gook! I haven't used it with any solution yet (only water on the turbo setting) and I'm looking forward to cleaning the siding of my house in the near future.

This little guy has good power. Just take a few moments and roll out the hose. It tends to kink. I used it to wash and 20 year old wood fence and didnt "destroy" the wood. Also wash a gazebo that was grey with dirt tirned it back to pretty again

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Fred poor warranty coverage
I bought this at Home Depot and after 1.5 years, the electric motor burnt out. (Electric brush broke off) trashing the armature. I looked up the warranty (3 year warranty) and per Ryobi, I was to bring to an authorized repair facilty. I drove 60 miles for them to tell me to bring it back where I bought it. I brought back to Home Depot and they said they had to send it to Indiana and it could be a month to get back. They told me a place closer I could try, but we're not sure they would do the repairs.Either Robin should send me the motor and let me do the labor, or Home Depot should exchange it and get credit from Ryobi. Not happy with either of these companies

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Jb Plastic Couplings
I once would have given this pressure washer a 5 star rating. It was strong enough to power wash the deck when repainting and gentle enough to clean the car. But after owning it for a couple of years and using it infrequently, a plastic part coupling the hose to the gun broke and nearly seriously injuring my nephew who was using it. The hose flew past his head at high speed, just missing him. Ryobi used to have a reputation for quality products, but not any more. Using cheap plastic parts in place of brass fittings at high pressure points is how people get hurt and Ryobi loses customer support. Bad move. Its not worth getting the pressure washer fixed with more plastic parts that will break, so I'll shift brands.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DecoratorGirl Excellent purchase!
This is a fantastic pressure washer, especially considering the price! I bought this specifically to clean the exterior of my house and get it ready for painting. It worked wonderfully! My house is both Austin stone (a very rough cut limestone) and vinyl siding. This pressure washer worked great on both surfaces. I was having so much fun using it that I also washed the front porch and half of the sidewalk before it got too dark to see.
The pressure washer requires assembly, but it's very simple and quick. I had it out of the box, put together, hooked up to the hose, and in use in about 10-15 minutes. I used it for at least four hours straight, and it worked perfectly the whole time.
You do have to spray very close to get the maximum amount of cleaning power. I held the nozzle no more than 6 inches away (and sometimes closer for the really dirty areas) from the house/sidewalk, and it cleaned very well. To get the high places on the house (I have a one-story house, and I'm only five feet tall), I used a ladder. It worked just fine, and I was able to easily reach the high areas. Just be aware that you won't get a lot of spraying power once you get more than about 12 inches or so away from the surface, which means that this pressure washer probably isn't a great choice for spraying the second story of a two-story house, unless you're willing to climb a tall ladder to get close enough.
