Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by wittco I love my Ryobi stuff
The new cordless vac is a huge improvement over the Ryobi one I purchased a couple years ago. The old one recently broke internally but was never very impressive anyway. This is my second light and drill. I use them on the job and they are great, especially with the lithium ion batteries.

I purchased this set for $49 around Christmas time. I asked this guy at the store why it was so discounted (compared to the pricing if you purchase each item) and he pointed out the charger and the lack of 2 additional batteries.
Ni-Cad batteries are nice IMHO, and you can always revive them (Google it). They should last pretty long.
So far the wife has used the vacuum to clean our minivan, I've setup some new furniture with the driver, my boy loves the flashlight and so everyone's happy :-)
Make sure to charge it for 10 hours as per the instructions. I tried charging it for only one hour, and it kept me going for about 25 minutes of easy operation with the driver.
Add the tool pieces for another $11 and you're all set!

I have been looking for a 2nd drill and decided to get this kit when I saw the price drop to $49. I most wanted a second charger, flashlight, batterey, and second drill, but immediately had a use for the cordless vac. Fortunately, I already had two other 18V Ryobi batteries, as the tiny charger included in this kit would have taken 10 hours to charge the new battery. All-in all, this is a good deal for $49, but I'm disappointed to get the slow charger, and there is no tool bag included.

At first....I thought it was too good to be true. The only drawback is the drills bits are sold separate but Ryobi also sells a 64 bit combo pack for only $9.00. The battery snaps in and easily interchanges between the 18V drill, mini vacuum and flashlight. Drill works great for projects and everyday stuff around the house. Battery and charger come with combo pack as well. I will be picking up another one as a gift for dad

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Edlin If 18.0 v battery like old one, use few times and can not charge, then don't buy this junk
A few years ago, I bought 2 sets of Ryobi complete set ( with drill, flash light & saw), after I used few months and sitting there for a while, then the batteries no lohger can be charged, therefore all the tools can use. I am buying this set just for the battery. If the battery acts like before can not charge, there is no sense to buy this kind of junk.
Dewalt is excellent brand, but the price is $199.00, if you can affort it.

The drill was changed since the last time I purchased one. No longer has a drill bit clip for a spare drill bit. Not a big deal but it was definitely nice to have. Haven't used the vacuum yet but will update when I do.

I bought the combo to add to my other tools. Having to have only one battery system for all my tools is amazing. One charger and a stack of batteries make working on the small ranch we have so easy. I highly reccommend.

I really just needed to replace my Ryobi drill/driver because I dropped it (it still works, but case is busted up). I looked around found that a drill and battery alone was around $40-50, got this set with battery, drill, vacuum, and another light for $69.00
