Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 99 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This product is easy to use and of good quality The tool combo is a good value. The tools are easy to use, and include instructions for operation and maintenance. The ability to use these tools cordlessly is quite convenient. Useful for the novice or the pro. January 8, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by One Battery I think that these combo packs are a good thing, but it really makes me unhappy that there is only one battery in these combo packs of five items but only one battery! What if you are trying to drill ahole or put a screew in something in a closet or something like that where you need to use the flash lite, or you are cutting and drilling? It just seems like the company would at least give two betterys in these combo paks, and then make you buy more batterys if you want all the tools to have its own batrrey, I'm just saying it would be really nice to get more than one battery! I'm sorry did not mean to go on & on, but I'm sure that a lot of you out there ask the some thing. December 20, 2009
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great tools for the price- bad delivery system Not professional tools by any means, but well built, durable and lot of power. Perfect the the house or odd job. That's the reason I bought this group. For that occasional shelf unit. Second time around, the first set was stolen from my place. Great price, good bang for the buck. The only problem was the silly little battery charger that came with the set. A 12 hour charger???? You then need to go and buy a better charger for 20+ bucks if you want to work properly and not have to wait 12 hours to charge. And this charger has idiot lights that really don't tell you anything. So that is the weakest component. March 13, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great power tool for the money! I have been buying these kits now for years! This is my fourth kit. I still have all of them. I do carpentry work in my home and on the side to support my hobbies etc. I have only have had one sawzall die on me. But I use the heck out of these tools. So I got my money worth! I keep so many kits so I can keep in different locations, garage, trailer etc. Only purchased this last one because I was afraid they might not sell them much longer. So It will just sit for a long time new in box. I have recommended these kits to many of my friends and they have all bought them and love them! I sure hope they do NOT stop selling them. You cannot not get a better power tool for this kind of money! January 20, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome deal I have owned my Ryobi set for over 10 years. My set was a four piece set because they didn't even have the sander back then. It also came with a hard case. I have dropped my drill off of roofs numerous times and it has never failed me. I will continue to buy Ryobi tools because they are rugged and they last. These people complaining about batteries, just go out and buy the six pack charger and the amount of batteries it takes to fill it. You have saved that much on the tool set to begin with. To say the set lacks just because of batteries is not a fair evealuation, that is batteries, not the tools. May 20, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A handful of useful tools for a small price I was looking for 18 volt cordless drills, and I have gotten good service from the drill that came with this combo kit. For the price, I decided to upgrade from buying just a drill to this combo kit. The tools are NOT for professional use, but for the occasional odd jobs around the house, these do the work just fine. One disappointment - the product specs mention (at least they did when I purchased) a one-hour charger (P-115) - well, I didn't get that, my combo kit came with the P-111 wall adapter charger, which is the slow (10-hour) trickle charger. I solved that by buying a P-115 charger and two extra batteries elsewhere. But for the price, you are still getting a nice variety of tools. January 29, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall A Good Purchase I bought these for my husband for his birthday. It would be his first tool set, as we recently bought a new house. It works well for the general housy projects, it would be better if the battery lasted longer and there was an additional battery in the set, however for the price i can not complain! He gets what he needs done. We havent used the sander yet because actually the sanding pads came damaged. They package the saw blades and the sander pads together... Hmmm probably not a good idea! Unfortunately we are going to have to wait weeeeeks, until we get replacements! March 13, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not for someone doing a significant project I bought the combo package becasue it seemed like a good deal. Need to have cordless for certain jobs. Flashlight is OK but drains the battery pretty quickly. Between uses the battery discharges on its own. I had an extra battery that I would leave in the charger because one left off of the charger would always be out of juice the next time I needed it. Now one of the batteries has failed, corroded from the inside out. Tried to use the drill to screw down floor decking for an addition I am doing and couldn't even get a half an hour out of a single charge. December 9, 2011
