Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by About Time This in Truck or car charger is the best charger to have. I install and repair farm fencing, so there is no hydro available in field. Dead batteries are no good, now plug in the charger put a battery to charge and the tools will always run. Long over due. Other tool manufacturers should follow suit. April 1, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great. With 2 batteries, I couldn't run one down before a second one was fully charged. If you work away from your shop you shouldn't be without this. I like the way it locks the battery in while charging. Also, great that it charges both the standard 18 volt and the newer lithium ion batteries, runs a test on them, then lets you know while it's charging and when it is finished. June 6, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ryobi P131 Car Charger: Not Bad It does what it's supposed to do, it charges all Ryobi 18v batteries just as well as the older P113 charger does. Be aware that: - The P131 won't charge a Lithium Ion pack (P103 or P104) in cold temperatures. I've found that when the charger (and battery) are cold, I need to heat up the truck before it will work. Sometimes I can get lucky by placing it in the dashboard and let the sun help out. - The P131 doesn't have the IntelliPort technology. C'mon Ryobi, it's time to release an IntelliPort version of the car charger! April 27, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for when you need another battery togo This is perfect when going into the woods to build and need to have back up batteries and such. June 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Well Well... I don't know what to say about it that the description doesn't. Works well, charges fast, and lasts. December 3, 2006
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by does not stay plugged in The in vehicle charger is a great accessory to have for your ryobi tools however mine will not stay plugged in to the cigarette lighter. After 5-6 tries II get it to gharge only to have it quit after 5 minutes and have to start over again and I know it's not the cigarette lighter because I have tried the charger in 6 different places. I am very disappointed in this. Ryobi makes good tools but if I can't have a charged battery then what good are they. September 30, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent charger! The charger works exactly as expected, although the connection to the 12V outlet in my truck has worked its way out while driving, but a little nudge puts it back in. It charges the batteries quickly and is an excellent option for remote worksites, which I frequent quite often. January 20, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not reliable and problematic I'm on my second one and its starting to hang up on "test" cycle with no battery in it. I've had to shut it off and leave it off for long periods to get it working. First one worked for about 1 month and than would not charge a battery. Second unit was working better but seems to be having the similar tell tale issue with getting stuck on "testing" cycle. I believe these units are less than reliable at this time. April 14, 2013
