Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JoeFamilyHandyman One of my favorite lights
Bought this light to supplement the other flash lights I have and also to take advantage of the multiple 18V batteries I have. This is becoming one of my favorite lights. The handle strap on top is thick and sturdy rubber which gives you a good grip feel. With the P102 battery as the base, it is steady and the battery base provides a somewhat rubbery grip as well. The overall weight of the light with the battery is still pretty light. Used it in the attic and the high setting gives out a good amount of light. The diffused plastic shade helps reduce the glare when it is on high setting. Had this for about a month and am very satisfied so far. I would have rated the value good or excellent if the price is around $10 to $15 instead of around $20.

I didn't think I was going to use this much, just bought it because it was cheap and maybe it was usefull.
But when I got it, I find it much more usefull than I first thought. Now I always reach for this when I need some light, especially underneath my car.
This light is not spreading the light straight up for the light, so if you want it to light straight up, just lay it down to the ground.
This light is very bright with only a 1W LED, and with only 1W this are not using much current from the battery and it will almost run forever on one charge.
Theoretically it will run 24h with the P102 battery, that is more enought for most of us.
Also since this is not using much current, so if you have some old and bad batteries that don't hold long on a tool, it will most likely run for hours on this light.

This light is great. It puts out 360 degree light and uses very little power. I bought it for camping to use in place of a camp gas lantern. So much easier to use and the 2 step switch allows you to turn down the output. If you are not familiar with LED's they don't put off heat which is awesome in a tent or pop-up. The handle is stiff rubber so it is a little flexible if you want to hang the light by it. I used this when changing the oil in my car. I hung the light by the handle from the hood latch using a big carabiner and it worked fine. I also put it under the car so I could find the filter. No regrets on this purchase.

Upon opening the package, I was surprised to find that the handle isn't rigid - it's rubber. I saw that was something to eventually get torn, but wanted a lantern for camping so I put a freshly charged battery in it (P108) to see how long the light would last. The second thing I didn't care for was the fact the the first click is put the light on high, the second on low. I would have preferred it the other way around. But the real kicker was that, within 15 minutes, the light flashed a couple of times, then went out completely. Thinking my charger was messed up, I tried the battery in a recip saw and it worked fine. I call this junk. I'm getting my money back.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Frank Very Handy Light
Very handy little light. I don't know the reason they have a two position high/low switch. The light is plenty bright enough in the high position but the low setting doesn't put out enough light to do any work by. I suppose it would work great as a night light. Using the Li-ion battery it lasts what seems like forever. I highly recommend this little light.

Nice lantern style light that does not throw light in one area, rather it casts lighting all around it. I would recommend this for general area lighting rather than for a specific task. Light on high with the P102 battery lasts for hours.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by cooter great light! 101 uses use daily
i bought 2 of these lights and went back the next day and bought 2 more!
i use these to light up the side of my lowboy semi when night loading or unloading equipment on the side of the road.
these lights make it much safer to work at night.
add a giant 5-6" spring clip (carabiner clip) and you have a hang anwhere light source.
used all 4 of these scattered through the house while the power was out for 4 hours and played board games with plenty of light.
also usefull for doing rewiring jobs where you have to cut the power to perform the electrical job.
littly pricey at 24.99 a piece, should be 15.99-18.99
but all in all a GREAT LIGHT!!
on a side note...ryobi...please let us have the flourscent work light that they have in europe!! WE WILL BUY IT HERE!!

I purchased this light when renovating my office restroom. I had to shut the power off so I could wire the new lights in and this lit up the room nicely so I could still work with no power in the room. Has low and high settings and the light does not rip through batteries. I got almost 4 hours on a single regular battery! Dropped it many times and also got it wet and never a problem! Highly recommended.
