Never get caught powerless, as these Ryobi 18-Volt lithium-ion batteries have a built-in 4-bar illuminated charge indicator to warn of diminishing capacity. The Lithium+ compact stands up to frigid weather conditions down to 14 Degree F (-10 Degree C) and is engineered to run four times longer than a NiCd compact counterpart. Customer Questions & Answers

You advertise the batteries as a two pack but the price is shown as $99 each. Is that $99 for the two pack or $99 for each battery???

confusing pricing
Asked by: banjogeorge
I got the twin pack for $99, meaning each twin pack is $99. For me it is a very good deal. Hopefully you already have the charger that came with your tool.

Does buying the single pk battery @ $44.97 Ea. equate to better deal than the 2pk for $99.00 ??????

Asked by: WaterMan
A single Ryobi 1+ lists for $54.00 ($108.00/2) verse two pack for $99.00. If you can find a single for $44.97 buy 2 for $89.94 and save $10.00.

These expensive batteries will likely go bad within several months! I've had them go bad in less than 6 months. When placed on the charger they will show a temperature alert and won't take a charge. Unless you buy from Home Depot the customer service with Ryobi won't honor their 3 year warranty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from batteries are awful I bought a string trimmer and hedge trimmer 3 years ago. After the first year I had one battery left that worked. Bought a blower and that gave me another battery. It lasted less than a month. Bought this battery 2 pack and 6 weeks later i have no more batteries left. If it was just a one battery that went that shortly i could understand but I've only had 1 battery go more than 1 summer.

I like the Ryobi products but had a problem with the battery that came with my reciprocating saw that I bought less than a year ago. The saw was not used very often but after a few uses, the battery would not fully charge. Only charged to a level two.

Pros: -Lightweight -Low profile -Battery life indicator -Charges in 30 mins with the corresponding charger -DRASTICALLY improves tool performance over the NiCd batteries -Works with the old Blue One+ products Cons: Does not work with the old blue charger that came with the NiCd Batteries. After spending $100 on 2 new batteries, I was a bit put off having to spend another $40 on a charger. That being said, they charge in 30 mins from completed juiced out. A great feature since they last for a long time and you can seamlessly change out batteries in one tool without waiting. Great product and has brought new life to my old Ryobi set!
