Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Motley wasted money!!
Used it one time trying to paint some cabinet doors.Worked ok for a few minutes then stopped spraying.
Spent more of my time than it's worth trying to make it work properly.
I understand why Home Depot stopped selling them.
I have 21 Ryobi products that I love, but the paint sprayer was a waste of my money.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SouthernTMT Easy to Use, clears clogs quickly and great tool
It is easy to handle, follow the directions to ensure you don't over fill the container and ensure you have enough paint to allow the paint sprayer to perform as designed. I used the pro power paint sprayer to paint my bench I made. In the past I have used brush and rollers, this was by far quicker to get the job done. Then new reversable tip made clearing the clog quick and easy. I am a hands on and love to see visuals. I would like to see a quick start guide included, but other than that small sugguestion. I am very satisfied with my pro power spray painter. It is like any other tool, you must take care of it by cleaning it. The brushes and oil includes made the clean up job easier.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by migs this product i will recomend to home owner best for the small jobs around the house
this sprayer came out just in the time i was looking for something to finish the room remodel i was doing
i am an owner of a lot of ryobi tools and this sprayer is a good addition to my tool box. I use it specially for the white color on my ceiling and all the crown base and casing of the room came out excelent.
the only recommendation i'll add is if the container shape and size be a little more capacity for like it happend to me the ceiling otherwise it very good tool and easy to disasemble and clean

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by GarageGal Expensive battery and charger
Initial impression was GREAT! First ten minutes and 1/2 gallon in performed as desired (even better since it was cordless!!). But then shortly into the second battery pack something happened and I began painting graffiti rather than nice even swaths. Tried the gimmicy nozzle clearing, no go. Took off the entire nozzle spray, disassembled, washed and tried again. More graffiti. Ended up rolling on the remaining paint (Ben Moore Ultraspec - probably $45/gallon) since I did not want to go back to the store, buy another gallon that I really shouldn't have to get. So, I at least have an extra battery charger and pack for my drill that does work.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by TKS first use broken part unavailable
bought this product in mid 2013 .I let it sit in my air conditioned studio for two years until now, october 2015. the tip gaurd , locking nut and most critically the pump housing assembly container lid failed to firmly lock together. consequently paint gushed out of sprayer. i tried to follow vague instructions on how to remedy but striped lock nut and damaged lid in the process. the site for ordering parts says lid must be furnished by suplier Home Depot . Home depot no longer carries product and won't consider looking for parts. this was $180. 00 down the tube. i was willing to pay for the mistake , except if within 90 days i could have just returned it, but i can't remedy this at all. home depot just lost all my bussiness (over $2000 a year) and i have eight contractor friends in Tucson area that will be glad to hear about bad bussiness from Home Depot.

My first cordless sprayer, I painted the interior of my 8x12 shed in 45 minutes first coat ! This Ryobi atomized the paint easily, and sprayed evenly. I did use a larger battery, so didn't encounter loss of power. The 1 quart sized paint container was a trade-off between volume and weight. After 1/2 hour my arm was a little tired, so more than a quart would have been difficult. Be sure to keep your arm level when spraying, it doesn't like up/down angles. And take your time cleaning !

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by murO WHY SPEND MORE FOR CORDLESS?
I was hesitant to spend a little more for the cordless over the corded sprayer. After using the sprayer on several jobs of different levels i found that over my corded one it , #1 SAVED TIME ON SETTING UP #2 DIVERSE FOR EVEN THE SMALLEST PROJECT. # 3 GOOD OVERALL SPRAY
clean up is also a breeze, completely satisfied!
