These batteries have more power than the black NiCads I've been using for years. I feel like they brought my old Ryobi tools back to life, especially the circular saw and chainsaw. My Ryobi circular saw (older blue model) used to only be useful for cutting thin plywood, and the new batteries easily handle cutting 3/4 plywood and a few 2x4's. I would guess the new batteries last about twice as long as the NiCad battery packs.
Definitely recommend if you can find the two pack of 4Ah batteries... It's a much better value than the single pack most stores keep in stock.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rocketman262 Best Ryobi deal of the year.
Two 4 amp NiCd batteries for $100 is a good deal, but two 4 amp Lithium batteries for $100 is a phenomenal deal.
I switched from the One+ NiCd batteries to these Lithium batteries last year. All my Ryobi cordless tools now perform way better than they ever did. Each one of these batteries holds an enormous amount of power. Our yard is over an acre and two of these batteries can trim the entire yard with my Ryobi cordless trimmer.
My cordless circular saw can zip through 2X4's as well as a corded unit. That saw never ran like that with the NiCd's.
So when these went on sale I bought another set. These go fast so get them while you can.

I have purchased several of these pack. They are the only batteries I use on the circular saws, they give me lots of run time. I love the built in power meter, as it helps to let me know if the battery needs charging.

Excellent Product, but the battery is not available in the two pack at the price that is continually fed to me online. It has been out of stock online and in all nearby stores for over a month and I still get the ads. There should be a rain check system or something, if you are going to continually advertise them? Are you hoping I'll just buy them for $99 a piece now that I'm interested or buy the two pack of smaller batteries for $99. You could just ruin our relationship with this continual advertising of a product that isn't available at that price and you probably don't plan to have it again or you would let us order it and wait on it. Now you can say you have some in some store somewhere, you target your ads, you know where I am. Either let me order the batteries that are in these far away stores to be shipped to my store or quit advertising them! The one I bought awhile back at $99 is great and I would like the two pack you continually advertise to me for $99!

Not only does it cut plywood it lasts all day in the impact drill. We use these for cutting Hardie siding, molding, 2x4, plywoods. Also, used with the ryobi shop vac or cordless grinder it's a perfect match. Oh, and great for bringing up the ladder, in the attic, under the foundation. No more cords!

I bought the Ryobi toolkit when we bought our house, and my two most-used tools are the screwdriver and the circular saw. When I'm cutting plywood, the circular saw has only about 20 mins of battery life, but with the high capacity battery, I have enough juice to finish out the project. The charge time is the same as the other batteries (30-40 mins), but I haven't lost power yet. It feels like freedom!
The only con is that the battery dimensions are so thick, I have a hard time disconnecting it from the charger or whatever tool I'm using. (I do have child-size hands, though, so if you're not a tiny person, you shouldn't have any problem.)
