Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nonsheep Best Buy On Batteries There IS
I waited for these to go on sale around Christmas & Whammo! I got an early Christmas gift! The Price of $89.00 for 2 batteries is Outstanding! These batteries do last 4 times longer than the regular slim Lithium batteries that came with most of my tools. These are the ones to use with the String Trimmer for the Yard! The Large Battery lasts the whole trim job unlike the smaller batteries takes me 3 fully charged batteries to do the same amount of work. The battery Power Level Button is an added Luxury that I find myself liking more & more as I work with more Ryobi Tools around our home. Buy Em! Best Deal Around!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TheFreckledElectrician Easily the best 100 dollars I've ever spent.
This is the only cordless tool battery you should consider, I don't know how Ryobi continues to make tools of quality comparable to Makita, dewalt, and the others for so much less, but they do. Why buy anything else? Also these must be the most versatile battery packs in the world, I have tools for my profession as an electrician, for my hobby as a woodworker, and for my weekends as an outdoorsman. And as if that wasn't enough I just found this thing called USBeast that uses these to power my mobile devices, I can't get enough of these Ryobi Lithium Batteries.

These batteries have more power than the black NiCads I've been using for years. I feel like they brought my old Ryobi tools back to life, especially the circular saw and chainsaw. My Ryobi circular saw (older blue model) used to only be useful for cutting thin plywood, and the new batteries easily handle cutting 3/4 plywood and a few 2x4's. I would guess the new batteries last about twice as long as the NiCad battery packs.
Definitely recommend if you can find the two pack of 4Ah batteries... It's a much better value than the single pack most stores keep in stock.

Purchased a two pack of P108 batteries in Nov 2013. In August 2015 when one would no longer take a full charge, I contacted Ryobi and was told that without a receipt, I had no warranty. I had registered them the day I bought then in 2013 but that does not count. Ridged honors their warranty's as long as the item is registered within 90 days of purchase. I like the tools, but given their warranty requirement, I will be replacing all 7 tools that I own with Ridged when they fail.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rocketman262 Best Ryobi deal of the year.
Two 4 amp NiCd batteries for $100 is a good deal, but two 4 amp Lithium batteries for $100 is a phenomenal deal.
I switched from the One+ NiCd batteries to these Lithium batteries last year. All my Ryobi cordless tools now perform way better than they ever did. Each one of these batteries holds an enormous amount of power. Our yard is over an acre and two of these batteries can trim the entire yard with my Ryobi cordless trimmer.
My cordless circular saw can zip through 2X4's as well as a corded unit. That saw never ran like that with the NiCd's.
So when these went on sale I bought another set. These go fast so get them while you can.

These batteries were great until one day the first 1 started to shut off after about 1/2 second under a light load it worked fine under a heavy load. at home depot they said that happens sometimes because a computer chip goes bad in the battery. last week the other battery started doing the same thing. only some home depots can do the warrantee paperwork and it takes about 1/2 hour to get it approved then you wait a week for them to send a new one.

Excellent Product, but the battery is not available in the two pack at the price that is continually fed to me online. It has been out of stock online and in all nearby stores for over a month and I still get the ads. There should be a rain check system or something, if you are going to continually advertise them? Are you hoping I'll just buy them for $99 a piece now that I'm interested or buy the two pack of smaller batteries for $99. You could just ruin our relationship with this continual advertising of a product that isn't available at that price and you probably don't plan to have it again or you would let us order it and wait on it. Now you can say you have some in some store somewhere, you target your ads, you know where I am. Either let me order the batteries that are in these far away stores to be shipped to my store or quit advertising them! The one I bought awhile back at $99 is great and I would like the two pack you continually advertise to me for $99!
