ONE plus delivers more value and performance with this new circular saw. It has a compact design for better handling and left side blade for better cut line visibility. It is equipped with an exact line laser that automatically activates during use to improve cut accuracy. It features the new and improved GripZone overmold for optimum grip and comfort. This saw can make bevel cuts of up to 45 degrees and its electric brake quickly stops the blade for enhanced safety. Like all ONE plus items, this saw works with any 18-Volt ONE plus battery. Rated 1 out of 5 by Costing I love the idea of the one+ idea, but either I can't buy the products without a charger and battery...or the cost is just crazy....5 1/5 blade..they are thin and really without a power source really only worth a $30 to $40...I can by a Dewatt 18v 6 inch saw with charger and batter for $99...you want one+ to work...get realistic....I would not recommend this product at this cost.... Rated 5 out of 5 by Buy this Saw! For the price this is the best battery powered saw out there, bar none! I have two of them. One with Lithium Ion Batteries and one older one with the regular batteries. They both work great! The only caution I have for you is that there does not seem to be any difference in the charge time on either batteries. The Lithium Ion batteries last just as long as the regular ones. You might think that this tool is cheap because of the price, but I have used this on two big building jobs and it is great when you are working up high and need a light saw to zip off a piece of sheating. The quality is there so do not be fooled by the price. December 18, 2008
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good saw Picked up this saw as part of a "starter" pack and except for the ni-cad batteries it came with, it has performed great. When we fenced our yard, this was the only saw we used to cut fence boards & 2x4 lumber. The ni-cad batteries could barely make it through a couple of cuts before being useless. The Li-Ion batteries however are a totally different animal and cut more than 50 boards before slowing down. Not an issue for me as I have 7 Li-Ion batteries, so a spare was always ready. Still on the original blade and have a pack of spares waiting when the need arises. Very handy when I don't want or need to haul out the corded circular saw. Think I have used the corded saw only once in the last 3 years since purchasing this saw October 29, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Am I the only one? Bought this saw about two weeks ago to do some home renovations. Made sure both batteries were fully charged. Used the brand new blade that came with the saw, made maybe 40 cuts through 2" x 6". The blade started to grumble after about 20 cuts and I ended up doing a double cut (3/4" one side and then turning the wood over) and now the blade won't even go thorugh 5/8" ply. Don't get me wrong - the saw itself is a really nice tool, lightweight easy to handle and versatile and it is one of several Ryobi 18V One + tools that I have but I can't believe that the blade would dull so quickly. Am I the only one that has had this problem? None of the other reviews seem to mention it. Has anybody tried replacements from other blade manufacturers? April 9, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great little saw This baby is great! I received mine as part of a combo package (drill, saw, light) in a hard plastic case with two batteries and charger. I was building a craft room for my wife in our basement and needed a drill and saw (saw to cut 2 x 4 and drywall, and drill to screw all together). I couldn't have been happier... all worked amazing! I have since used the tools to renovate a bathroom and am now using them to repair a very large fence project. Two batteries are great, but I'd recommend 3 batteries for two tools. July 1, 2009
