Answer:
Regarding the extension cord, I have read both positive and negative to this question. I suspect that the negatives are due to trying to use an extension with internal wire that is too small. For a 13 amp motor, you should use 12 gage wire (that is what the on-board power cord is). By adding another 50 feet, there will be additional amperage loss. So, I would suggest nothing less than 10 gage wire. That Read More

Bonbon - have you ended up using an extension cord? If so, how long and what gauge? I have a 100ft 14 gauge extension cord and would rather not buy a 50 foot or shorter.

Answer:
I have been using a 100 ft extension cord for my 12 amp lawn mower and and used it with 16 gauge and 14 gauge cord. Most manuals will tell you you need 12 gauge for anything more than 50 feet but a 14 guage 100 foot cord is fine.

Answer:
You will need to use a heavy gauge 50ft extension cord because of the high amps drawn by the electric motor. Your local hardware store should be able to assist with this. Do not use a skinny cheap extension cord.

Hey Bonbon! We do not recommend using a 50 ft extension cord. However, you can use a 100 ft garden hose. We recommend one with a 3/4 ID. Thanks for the question!

Answer:
Use a 3/4 inch garden hose and without turning the pump on. Squeeze the handle on the gun to release all the air from the hose before turning the hose on. Leave the tip off when doing this...if you have soap in the reservoir when you do this, it will draw soap.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Pressure Washer! I used this three times across a week so far in order to pressure wash my home's vinyl siding. This thing runs great. Even on an extension cord, the pump had no issues running for hours on end. The power cord itself is very long and i only needed the extension cord for the far side of my home. The wand line is extremely long as well allowing a eight foot ladder climb in addition to being several feet out of the way. I also used it with a collapsable and pex hose with no problems as well. And I'm on a well pump. And this pressure washer pump continued to power through. I did use pump protectant (Briggs July 1, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It works! This unit works like advertized. You have to realize that its not a commercial washer. Follow the directions for the unit AND the soap you are using. Used for 4 days so far pressure washing a cabin in the woods up north and a composite wood deck. I would highly recommend this unit. Works just as well on concrete sidewalk/driveway. August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ryobi Power Sprayer 2000PSI Electric I love the washer but in a short time I have found some short comings and stupid engineering. The hose reel lacks a PH feed through swivel fitting which would allow the hose to be used and stored without disconnecting the hose from the gun or pump. A lot of waisted time every time each time you use the unit! Also the reel is too close to the pump to store extra hose on the reel. the clunky fittings are to hard to fit between the reel and pump. The inlet water fitting is flimsily! To get around this I secure the water hose to the cart frame to support the hose and fitting. Would I purchase this product again, YES. I would hope they will make update and improve the above mention.... June 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value Would have liked another attachment tip for further reach. August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 'Cmon, guys- I'm gonna revoke your man card... THIS is how you stow the hose, with everything still connected! The little plastic reel is for store display, and obviously so. If you don't get it, put down the nozzle and step away from the scary spray machine... July 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great pressure washer A very decent pressure washer. Has a nice weight to it, but the hose and handle itself are fairly light. I used it on both a trex deck and a wood deck, and it cleaned both fantastic. It does have some power to it, so be careful when using it on wood. I did a test spot and it can tear up wood if your too close, so don't let the fact it's electric and a bit lower in rating then a gas model fool you. It comes with 3 nozzles - a soap, a regular angle, and a "hard" angle nozzle. I just used the soap and regular and that's plenty powerful. July 4, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by This pressure washer is easy to assemble and use. I was a bit disappointed with the discharge pressure. The washer works fine and does a good job at small jobs. I bought this to wash lawnmower engines before rebuild and wash house prior to repainting. It does a decent job washing engines but the house washing is very lacking, just not enough pressure to really break loose scaled paint. In hind sight I should of saved more money and got a more powerful pressure washer. October 25, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by was great now less than 2 years old the pump side cover is leaking, like it has tiny pin holes in it. July 17, 2016
