Why don't you sell the parallel cable in stores? It's an added hassle to have to go on-line to get one when you buy two units or get an additional one.

Answer:
Items selected to be stocked in the stores are based upon sales volume. The demand for the parallel cables is very low. The parallel cables are offered online only because of sales volume.

there can be many answers for that question.....
assuming there is gas in the tank and the unit is brand new, and you added the oil!
it might take a few pulls to get the gas down trough the system,
I drain my down to the last drop and when I refilled it, it took a lot of pulls on that cord to get it restarted!
you do have it in the start position, and the energy saver switch on off ?

Answer:
That’s a bit of a loaded question, yet lacking important info.
So, I’m gonna assume your unit is new, and you’ve done or not done a couple things;
Turn the auto idle off
Unplug anything to power (never start any genny under load)
Give it a few pulls without choking it (you may have flooded it)
Walk away for a few minutes (let it clear its throat)
Oh, make sure you have gas and oil in it…

A new genny will take a few pulls, but after initial running should only take a couple.
I’ve had two of these, and that’s been the case for both.

With the limited info, gonna say no. Look at the peak watts of your welder. If it's over 2200, then you'll probably cook something.

Answer:
The output of this generator is 120 volts so no, it won't run a 220 welder. 220 volt services haven't been available in the US for at least 60 years.

Answer:
Yes, a typical home refrigerator/freezer is not a problem at all. That was the primary reason I bought one 3 years ago. I also found that it will run the 1/3 HP blower motor on my natural gas furnace so I won't be without heat in the winter should I lose power during the cold months again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This Changed my opinion of Ryobi!! Im not going to go into great detail of the specifications of this or output power vs claimed power...blah blah. What i am going to tell about is real world use. I race FPV quad copters all over the state and most of the time the racetracks are setup on remote locations with no power. I use this generator at all of the functions i go to for two seasons now. it has never missed a beat. it does not leak gas. it starts up immediately in extreme heat and cold. its super quiet at 15' away. If you need more power than it can handle by two for the price of the other competitors and hook them together with the kit they sell. My brother and i do this at events. he and i both have one. we have powered tent lighting, PA systems, lipo battery charging stations, small microwaves etc. this thing will do it. remember to take care of it in the winter, put some fuel stable in it. Alwsy do a prime pull before setting it to run start. it will fire up in one or two pulls. I used to think Ryobi was entry level but this this is far from it. HD/Ryobi knocked it out of the park on this one. My brother and i were the first two in our club to purchase these, since them another six have shown up. April 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome powerful little generator I bought this generator to act as shore power for my 36’ boat while dry docked for the winter. It powers lights, soder gun, saw, battery charger, shop vacuum, etc. and allow me to work onboard to do some remodeling over the winter months. Very quiet, can’t even hear it while inside the cabin. I also have a conventional 5,000w generator from years ago and can highly recommend the inverter styles over the conventional. The Ryobi was super easy to fill with oil, the bottle that came with it was the exact amount. Started in the 3rd pull. Continues to start quickly. I’ve run it on below freezing days, and it work great. January 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does everything I want it to do! I had the unit out of the box and running in about 10 minutes. The purpose for getting it was to run a large electric chainsaw that I use on my 10 acre property. I wanted a setup that wouldn't disturb the wildlife or the neighbors. My daughter laughed when it fired up for the first time, shocked that it was so quite. The 4hp electric chainsaw is louder than the generator at full throttle! Generator fits well on an ATV and is light enough to lift into my truck. Excellent unit at a reasonable price. Can sink up with another unit giving twice the power for the price of a single comparable Honda. October 29, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So Far So Good! This product was purchased to run a 6200-8000BTU AC window unit. It does great as long as you leave the auto idle off until the compressor kicks in. After settling down, you can turn the economy button on(auto idle) and this unit will run for 5-5.5 hrs. on .5 gal. of gasoline. I would recommend using alcohol free 93 octane gasoline if you can find. (NOTE: if the compressor kicks off then comes back on, the generator will not start the compressor motor once switched to economy mode, this is not a design flaw, just the motor cant rev. up fast enough from a near idle speed to generate the near triple wattage required to start the compressor. When the auto idle if off this is a non-issue.) September 14, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This product exceeded my expectations. What a great addition to my north woods tools! Out of the box it was easy to set up and get running and has been exceeding all my expectations. Recently I needed to relocate my travel trailer (I call it my hunting shack, my wife calls it the mouse hotel) and needed to construct a semi-permanent roof to prevent leaking. The Riobi not only powered the saws I used to build the roof frame but it easily managed the operation of my heat gun I used to shrink wrap the poly cover for the roof. Now that the work is complete the generator is used to keep my trailer batteries fully charged and gives me the confidence that I can safely charge my personal electronics (lap top for work, cell phone and electronic book). This is a great tool and good value for the money! December 10, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Product runs very well and is affordable I purchased this unit a few months back and after reading current negative reviews, I took the challenge. I started my unit for the first time today. After oil and gas filling, it took about nine easy pulls and voila! I added an extension cord with a multiple outlet strip including a TV, TV decoder, room air fan, another room fan, an electric clock, and a water kettle. This unit perked up with the use of water kettle; but after the water boiled, the unit calmed right down and continued to run all of those other appliances at a super quiet steady pace. June 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better Than I Expected! Purchased 2 of these last summer in preparation of hurricane season, thankfully I never got to use them for that reason, but I have used them many times for yard work and tailgating, and they have never failed. The only minor complaints I have is they don't have a fuel shut off, and the wheels make an annoying rattle when they are at idle, a small piece of foam wedged between the wheel and chassis stopped that. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Reliable I have been using Ryobi products for some time, and I have had no complaints until now. In June of last year, I purchased a RYi 2200G as a backup power supply for a medical device I use at home. While inspecting the generator, I noticed that the engine cover only had one screw holding it onto the generator. This was the first quality control issue. During the first operation, I noticed gas leaking from the bottom of the generator. The gas line from the fuel tank to the carburetor was leaking due to a split in the line. It was an easy repair, but still another quality control issue with the Ryobi generator. In October, the generator was running rough while idling. I took the generator to my local authorized service center for evaluation. It was determined that the governor was bad and needed to be replaced under warranty. I was told that the part would be ordered, and the repair should be complete in two weeks or less. I called back in two weeks to check the status of the repair. I was told that Roybi had to order the part from China, and it would be two more months to complete the repair. Two months later I called to check on the status. Ryobi had not received the part from China and did not know for sure when the part would arrive. As of today, I am still waiting to get my generator repaired. After more than two months, I consider this very long delay for Ryobi to repair my generator to be unacceptable. For this reason, I will not consider any Ryobi product when making purchases in the future. I would not recommend this generator to anyone who needs a reliable generator. If you want a reliable generator, I suggest that you consider the Honda line of generators. My next generator will be a Honda. January 1, 2016
