Answer:
I have not ran the generator with radio's so i am not sure how to eliminate it, it can be difficult to isolate that with any generator, but this little generator should run 60 hertz. try turning the idle off and see if that helps.

Answer:
I am not sure exactly how to answer the question but I would try using a simulated sine wave uninterruptible power supply ( https://www.cyberpowersystems.com/products/ups ) just choose the correct wattage you need. and they may clean it up some. and i you may could get a noise filter but unsure if that would help. I only run appliances and electronics from mine but never a radio.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 337 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty good while it lasts We bought this in the early spring of 2015. It was temperamental to start at times but once you got it going it ran fine. We race off road motorcycles and this was used to power a space heater when it was cold and a fan when it was hot. At the first race of the year in 2016, it quit at 2AM and it was about 32 outside. It has not started since. I have checked the oil level, changed spark plugs, etc. but no luck. We where planning on going with the Honda 2000 when we saw this at Home Depot. I own some other power tools by Ryobi so I trusted the name and at $400 less than the Honda I thought i had found a good deal. We have a Honda 2000 on the way now. March 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Product This is the second one of these I have purchased and purchased the link to use both at once. Easily powers the 15,000 a/c on my fifth wheel. I have owned the first one I bought for 3 years and it has functioned perfectly every time I use it. These are as good or better than Honda or Yamaha inverters that sell for twice the price. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Generator for cooking & camping The Generator was a needed item. My team used it for our camp site for lights and cooking. Was very quiet and was informed that it was a great to be able to talk in the campsite. I had other people looking and informed them that I had bought it at Home Depot. May 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by THIS THING ROCKS Nice little machine. Started right up with ease. Make sure you have a funnel handy to fill the oil though. Its light and has great handles to carry it around. It was a little noisier than I was hoping for but still not bad. I wouldn't want hang out with it sitting right next to me but just stepping around the corner made you barely able to hear it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product with a lot of uses We purchased this 2200-watt Ryobi generator to power our camper while we are out doing rustic camping. The generator itself is quiet and easy to start. We keep it less than 100’ from the camper and you cannot hear it very much at all. The output power is enough to keep 2 popup campers running all day long (lights, televisions, fans, coffee pots, etc). You can trip the breaker if you try to run too much (like say, a microwave while you’re already using a couple TVs and fans). In addition to keeping the campers juiced up, this generator can power drills, circular saws, and other power tools that we use around the campsite for building and construction. This is our second generator of this model – we went with a second Ryobi so we could parallel up for 30-amps of power if we ever need it. The unit is not terribly heavy, but it isn’t really very light either. The whole thing comes pretty much assembled and ready to go – you just need to add oil and gas. The one thing we noticed with the first generator is that when the oil is ready to be changed, the generator gets a little harder to start. Other than that, we have had no issues with either unit. The first one we purchased has more than 750 hours on it and it still runs strong and puts out clean power. Highly recommend this unit if you want something that is fairly quiet, reliable, and significantly cheaper than other brands. These are perfect when the power goes out at home, too - just enough power to keep the fridge or heat running. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really happy, easy to use, easy to move and store This worked really great when we had an extended power outage. I looked at a few and I don't have a ton of extra room in my garage, so this was perfect. It was enough to power the fridge, a few lights, charge phones. and use the toaster. Not overly loud. It has an extension handle to pull it with and small wheels to drag it around like a suitcase. Overall it was as much as we needed for the few days the power was out. April 17, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Never Again I have two of these generators and just over a year both have had key issues (wont spark correctly). Not once but twice. The certified repair facility is dropping their Ryobi service contract because their customer service is horrible. Ive tried to get in touch and have left several messages for "management" not a single one has called back. Repair facility wants to have replacements sent but ryobi just wants to keep fixing them at 4weeks down time. I have to drive an hour just to get them fixed every two months. Wouldnt buy another ryobi generator again. March 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your money! DO NOT buy this unit if you plan on using it on a regular basis. I bought one to use to charge up my RV battery and to run the heater at night. I was temporarily living in my RV during construction of a permanent residence so was using it every night. The first unit I bought lasted about 80 days before running rough and then quitting. HD did an even swap for another one and that lasted about a month before doing the same thing. Took it back and swapped for a third unit. I ran it one night. The second night it would not stay running. I brought it back and got my money back. Went to Lowe's and bought a Generac which I have had no issues with. Another issue I ran into with the Ryobi is the outlets on the unit. The plug converter on my RV would not plug into the generator as the outlets are slightly raised on the unit. I had to cut off half of the insulation on the plug to make it fit. I found the spark plug difficult to get to. It's at an odd angle and a tight place. The dipstick for the oil is also a bit awkward to get to as well. In case you're wondering, I kept up on all maintenance; changed the oil and spark plugs regularly, checked the air cleaner, even went so far as to use non-ethanol gas. Overall I would NEVER recommend this generator and am, in fact, telling friends and family just how bad it is. April 4, 2016
