Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ron Pressure too weak for my needs
Bought this 2800 Ryobi to relace a 2700 Craftsman I've used for over 10 years but finally blew a seal and died. This Ryobi started right up, ran smooth, but the pressure was so weak it wouldn't even clean moss off the driveway. Took it back for a refund. The folks at Home Depot were very helpful and courteous! Now looking for a better pressure washer.

Starts easily, nice feature that it powers/idles down while not using the pressure side.
Very strong pressure, bought it to take 1" thick calcium deposits off of the tile, below the
decorative rock, in my pool, it took a little while, but then the calcium had formed over several years, and
I had a bunch of it that had formed.
Gas tank holds enough gas for several hours of use....I think due to the fact that the engine will idle, when
not under demand. Probably put 20 hours on it since the first of Sept...it is running great....although they
say to check the oil.... mine has not used a drop. Happy with the product

Worked well on the deck I was cleaning, but you have to watch the hose getting too close to the muffler. Mine melted a little but not all the way thru. I would think there would be a guard to keep this from happening. When you move around a lot the hose gets twisted and tends to curl up right in front of the muffler. Also the choke/start and the fuel on/off indicators are just stickers and were barely on when I took it out of box.Speaking of the box there were loose parts in the box and I'm not convinced I got a brand new unit based on some scratches and the condition of the stickers and the handle. Initial start up was not good as the throttle cable was moved and had to be reset for it to run. I was about two seconds from returning it when I figured that out. All in all for a smaller unit and the price it's a fair deal. If you are going to be cleaning concrete get a bigger unit but for wood it's fine. Haven't tried the soap features yet.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 4124 Very good equipment at a good price.
Easy to put together and it cranked on the second pull. So far it's perfect, hope it continues for years to come.

This unit was available only on line and I received it in about a week as promised. There was minimal assembly that was easy with clear instructions. The engine started on a few pulls and idled smoothly. In the next week I used the pressure washer for a total of about 3 hours.
The engine and pump worked flawlessly and the idle down feature is really nice. The engine is about average for noise. My only complaint is the hose is made of a stiff plastic and is a nuisance to keep untangled.
This pressure washer is a real value for the price and should last for many seasons. The hose can be upgraded for $30-$50.

Ordered on line and it was delivered to my door within a week, no charge for shipping. When I opened the box I noticed oil in the bottom of the box and found a cracked water inlet valve. I immediately boxed it up and took it to my nearest home depot. They refunded my money and ordered another one without question.
The second one arrived within a week, and this one was in perfect condition. Had it assembled in about 10 min and started right up on the second pull.
I've had it about 2 weeks now and have pressure washed my entire concrete driveway, my truck, and my pool deck. It's actually fun to use, easy to start, the hoses are easy to connect and take off, and the large never flat tires make it easy to move around.
The only negatives Iv'e found so far are: 1. The oil cap is behind the wheel making it a little hard to screw on and off. 2. The instructions for changing the oil are ambiguous. They say to drain the lubricant remove the drain plug from the bottom of the engine ( there is no drain plug on the bottom). The drain plug is on the side of the engine, which would require tilting the unit and therefore breaking the rule about keeping the unit upright. Guess I will cross that bridge when I get to it.
