Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by poor instructios given my first use and no where did it say to drill a pilot hole before using the extractor. I just watched Youtube to learn how to use it after burning through the extractor. In my opinion they should provide intructions on the outside of the packaging so that a buyer will know that they will also need to buy a proper size metal drill bit for the pilot hole. May 21, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Removed broken bolt from engine block While installing the cylinder head on my mower, I applied to much torque and broke the head off one of the bolts. This along with a Ridgid 5/32" cobalt drill bit did the job. Drilled in about 1/4" and tapped the extractor into the hole. Came out easily using a crescent wrench. Now I just have to remove the bolt from the extractor . . . The product I purchased had instructions on the packaging including what size drill bit to use. I will note that that the bolt I extracted had Loctite 242 on the threads so removal was easy once the extractor was firmly seated. Not sure how this would work for removing a rusted bolt/screw where the head was broken during removal. April 14, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Destroyed it in about 15 seconds. The directions are terrible. Three tiny pictures, no words. If you don't know how to use it already, the instructions will lead you to burn it up. The instructions make it look like the first step is to power drill the extractor into the stripped screw. Very disappointed. May 10, 2013
