Rated 5 out of 5Â by CPitty Great Machine!
I just bought this PW and I have no complaints. The assembly out of the box was minimal (a couple of screws), added the oil, connected the water, filled it with gas and ONE pull had me washing the driveway. I was a little worried after the first pull to start the engine to hear this quiet PURR....it sounded like the engine was trying to fire up but wasn't able to reach any RPM's!! That is just how QUIET it is!! Once I pulled the trigger, the unit kicked in and sounded normal, let go of the trigger and you are back to the PURR of the Honda engine....totally awesome. The power is great too...more than I really need around the yard but better to have more power than not enough...right GUYS?!!
Don't hesitate to purchase this PW....

Rated 4 out of 5Â by TechFriendly Great machine with a few minor adjustments
I tried a few other pressure washers before finding the Ryobi. I read all the reviews before buying and have been able to correct most of the problem areas.
1-Hose length. Yes the 25 foot hose is too short for many jobs, but then so is the 35 foot hose that comes with the competitors products. I bought a 35 foot extension high pressure hose and have been quite happy with the improved reach. Tip: unscrew hose from the trigger handle and pull straight to make pressure hose easier to coil up.
2-Water inlet. The inlet is low (probably to make the center of gravity low and make the unit more compact) but with a short filter extension, some quick hose connectors, and a piece of copper wire (see photo) I was able to modify so that it is much easier to hook up and maneuver around. Tip: Make sure water hose does not run near exhaust (I learned this lesson the hard way). Run through the handlebar seemed to work best for me.
3-Gas tank. Yes, the gas tank is small. But I have been able to get between 45 minutes to 1 hour of operation on average. The benefit is that I hopefully won't get carpal tunnel and I stay hydrated by having more frequent breaks. For the homeowner this seems about right, if I were a contractor I would look for something else with a longer run time.
4-Restarting. Only had trouble starting twice and both times it was my own fault. First time I had forgotten to open the fuel valve. Second time (hard to pull) was because I didn't release the pressure with the trigger handle first (engine won't start under load). Note: recoil starters will occasionally "snap back" so make sure you take a straight pull and have no body parts in the way. Also, make sure that the water is turned on first and air is bled out of the line or you could damage the pump.
Sorry to have spent most of this review taking about the negatives, but there are many good reviews covering the positives. Most problems are easily corrected and I hope the tips help. I like the folding handle, hose storage, auto-idle, light weight features that others have mentioned. It really is a nice machine for this price range.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by WildBill So much power!
This has a lot of pressure and does a great job cleaning outside of the house, decks, vehicle and etc... 3,100 psi sure has power! I just love that it has engine idle when you let go of the trigger. Best power watcher I have ever own. This also has enough pressure to even clean your engine on a vehicle. Also love how it has a dial to turn the tips for different sprays and soap sprays. Also has the soap dispenser which is great to have.

I did my homework for approximately 1 month before choosing this washer. I would think I found one better and then go back and compare and the Ryobi would just be better in some way. Now that I've had it and used it for 2 months, I truly love it. If your on the fence and doing your homework let me save you some time and go to Home Depot and buy the Ryobi. I'm not going to go in the features cause you can read that on the product page just go buy it, you too will love it. I use mine for cleaning outside of my house, clean my driveway and sidewalk, soap lather my cars, clean my fifth wheel and clean my Rhino and ATV's after a weekend of fun!

As first usage of my machine was today I cannot comment on longevity however I can pretty much mirror other reviews in the pros and cons.
Pro's: Easy starting, plenty of power, the multi nozzle works well, run time is good at between 45 to 60 minutes, and I love the big wheels.
Con's: Pressure hose length should be 50 feet, not 25, foaming parts of the nozzle don't work that well but they do work, pump hose connection is a bit low.
One thing in particular on the hose length. I own a full sized truck that I washed with this unit and I was not able to get all the way around my truck without having to reposition the washer to fully reach both sides, just kind of a pain having to do that a couple of times for rinsing and then soaping.
About the power. I was easily able to reach about 16 feet in the air to the eaves of my house, and it knocked the loose paint off the garage doors, pillars and shutters, which is one of the reasons I bought the machine.
