My need was for a string trimmer with wheels. Didn't have $300 to $500 for a big high wheel string trimmer. Saw this one online at HomeDepot and the price was right.
Likes- 4 cycle engine does have more torque, is quieter, whole machine is lightweight but does a heavy weight job of trimming. Don't have to lug around my curved shaft trimmer anymore. Now, I just steer and push. The adjustable angle on the trimmer head helps for edging, flat trimming or angle trimming. Quick change string pieces and hey!- how about that nice little spare string holder (holds about a dozen) that snaps onto the handle bar. I like that kind of intuitive design.
Dislikes- none come to mind.

It is all we wanted it to be and then some. Wife has arthritis and she has no trouble using this trimmer.

I purchased the 4-Cycle 30cc Gas Wheeled trimmer as a surprise for my husband. We have a little over 2 acres that we have to take care of and he has a bad shoulder that makes carrying the gas powered weed eaters very difficult. He has nicknamed it the "Go-go Eater"! My only complaint is that is I go to use it, my husband has to start it the first time because I have difficultly pulling the starter cord to get it going, but once it's been started, then I can turn it off and restart 10 times over and it starts easily. My other concern is the flimsy plastic lever that you hold to make the string rotate. I'm seriously waiting for it to break anytime because it's not made of the heaviest material.

Rated 5 out of 5 Ryobi wheeled trimmer works nicely for me.
It can be a little tricky to get started sometimes, but after a few pulls and once it's warmed up, this trimmer works great around my yard. I'm only 5'3" so maybe my being short and closer to the ground makes it easier for me to pull the string and get it started. If I hit a bunch of coral rocks, or run along the chain link fence, I do have to stop a few times to change out the line. That part is easy enough to do and doesn't bother me because I DO LIKE TAKING BREAKS... it's yard work and super-humid-soggy-underwear-hot outside so what can I say? Break-time = good. And with this thing rolling around on wheels, I don't have back pain anymore from awkwardly carrying around the heavy straight trimmer, all hunched over like Quasimodo. So for me, pain-free = better.

I recently had to have a Pacemaker implanted and this has caused a few physical limitations . My SIL gave me this unit she had bought 2 years ago. It had been left sitting with Ethanol gas in the tank. After replacing the broken fuel lines the unit would start but only run at an idle. 4 tanks of MIB fixed that. You have to be easy with the starter cord to make sure it engages. Since I did not have A manual I bought 0.095 line. it does ok but I will switch to the OEM 0.105. the trimmet head design is pretty decent it does not wrap up as bad as my old trimmer did. I really like the light weight . I have also discovered that the trimmer head pivots to make edgiing possible.
