Answer:
RYOBIOutdoors - I don't think the brushcutter attachment you list really fits this WHEELED trimmer. It looks like it would stick really far out and probably the blade would not be at the correct angle.

Answer:
Ryobi, is this true? Will the brush cutter fit on this unit? The unit does not have the quick connect boom like the standard Ryobi trimmer. That is why I am asking.

Answer:
That can be a lot of things, mine has always started easily and run well. When I first got mine I didn't prime it well enough with the primer bulb. If it is on a cold start I would suggest you try priming it well, not necessarily more pushes but good quality full pushes. I hope this helped.

Answer:
The head of the trimmer shaft will rotate into an edger. Its not real easy to use because its hard to tell where the line is, but I am sure with practice you could do it. I have learned how to finesse it on one wheel and it trims the sidewalk area nice.

Hi Dona, if this is a new unit or a unit under warranty i would recommend taking the unit to an authorized service center to see if the carburetor needs to be adjusted for your elevation. Thanks for reaching out!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 30cc 4 cycle 2 wheel trimmer The timing belt and timing gear is not made well if unit gets to hot the timing gear will spin on cam shaft it will never start July 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Used 5 times and happy with product I have a injured back so I use this to trim along fences and flowerbeds. It assembled easy and started easy. Powerful enough for medium size weeds. It will accept larger plastic string which last longer against brick. Thin string may not be able to be used because of the way you must thread through Holes for each side June 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst I've seen Got it out of the box and spent time on a hot evening putting it together only to find when I started it that the trimmer head didn't turn. Re-attached the trimmer to get the shaft to connect and got it working - for 2 minutes. The first time I let off the throttle the flex shaft disconnected again. Took it back and got a refund. I didn't even want to give this a star but a rating is required. July 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great item This trimmer is very efficient.! The string is easy to fill, and it allows for a great trim. Well worth the price. June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worse ever Worked about 30 minutes, cut off and would not start again until it cooled off completely or would run until it hit something too big and would not start back up. Finally took it back to home depot with extra insurance I paid. They charged me about $20 and said something was dirty. Took it home, did same thing. I was able to use it twice letting it cool after each 30 minutes. Has not started since then. Thought I would replace plug to see if that would help. Apparently home depot doesn't carry them. I don't recommend this for anyone. May 30, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by VERY, VERY, POOR PRODUCT !!!! Roybi's are built to sell, Piece of junk if you get more than one year out of them your lucky. The second item I.ve brought from the Roybi line. Both junk BUT never again !!!!! June 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Some features difficult I found it very difficult to pour the oil in, even with the paper funnel provided. I hate to see what I would have done if I had fat fingers. will have to see if I can fill it up once I have to add oil. Also when I first tried to insert the string that was provided, it got jammed. Had to have a male relative take it apart to remove the string. It was put on so tight that I never could have removed the head. I also called the company and they did sent me a new head at no charge. I would have preferred a spool that I could have rewound myself, like most weed trimmers. Manual leaves much to be desired! April 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your time or money I thought i was buying a more robust 4 cycle, larger engine weed-eater/trimmer than those throw away versions that sell for less than half this one. NOT. My first one lasted one season and couldn't be made to run again. I always used fuel stabilizer so the carb wasnt gummed up with ethanol. Overall it's just a piece of junk. The cutting head can't be rotated to different angles so it's hard to pitch the twine down if you want to really trim weeds under a fence line or along a driveway edge. Also the unit would sporadically get hot and shut off. The wheels are cheap and the unit is very unstable on uneven ground. The second unit (my wife bought as a replacement gift) was used twice. Last night i dragged it out and pulled the cord at least 3-400 times. no start. If i wasn't absolutely certain the replacement warranty wasn't void i would have tossed this thing across the yard like an Olympic hammer throw. May 24, 2016
