Yes, as you may suspect, this blower is not powerful enough to blow the chrome off a trailor hitch, however because of the convenience you will use it more often which makes it absolutely perfect for regular maintainance.I use it for everything, blowing out the garage, my car, gutters. My wife asked me to clean up the inside of the house while she was gone one day, dont tell her but it works great for that too!!

Don't expect the performance of a gas/electric powered blower but if all you do is push the clippings back into the grass and cleanup leaves that fall into the driveway, etc... then this is your tool. Not heavy and very manageable. I have the 40V trimmer so buying this was a no brainer. I have an electric Toro for the heavy duty blowing and sucking. I have 2 acres of heavily wooded property and a pool so I do a daily blow around the pool to keep things away. I also use it to for the grass clippings and any odd job around the house (blowing the garage, the front path to the house etc...). Since I bought this blower I have yet to use the Toro.
Storing it is kind of awkward since there is no way to hang it but I found a solution that works for me... see attached pic.

I decided to purchase this blower after I traded my gas edger for a 40 volt one. Since I hardly use the edger but use my other battery powered 18V blower daily that needs three batteries for me just to blow around my property and, takes 10-12 hours to charge each battery.
I decided to buy the 40 volt blower unit (without the battery and charger) since I already had it with my edger.
The blower is GREAT, I have blown out my property four different times (even my neighbors driveway) on a single charge. It take less than 2 hours to recharge the battery when I am at half charge. I love the variable speed trigger...My other blower was either on or off and when it was on, it was on full.
The easy finger trigger and variable speeds save the battery and allow me better control of the debrie I am blowing.
I ordered it online because the "unit ONLY" (without battery and charger) WAS NOT availabe in store.
I got it in great time, it need very little assembly (no tools needed).
I would recommed this to any homeowner that just needs to blow off his (or her) decks, walkways, driveways (and neighbors driveway) and doesn't want to hassel with gas or electric cords.
It won't won't hold up to BIG jobs, it starts to slow down when the battery indicator gets to half.
If you got a BIG job, you need a serious blower with lots of unlimited power.

Solid power to blow away grass clippings and dry leaves. Battery power and time is great for a small to medium home and good for a large home. I use one battery for the string trimmer and the blower and still have power left. I would rate my yard as small to medium.

I had purchaced the 40 volt string trimmer and absolutely love it, so I thought I would give the blower a try. I had been using an electric corded blower, but got tired of dragging the cord around. And I refuse to buy another gas blower or trimmer.
This blower rocks. It does a great job, has plenty of blowing power, and I have yet to completely drain the battery. This is also after edging my entire yard. This 40 Volt batter never dies. Ever.
Wow, this system is the future. For once I am on the leading edge of it.
