Yes , I think most folks use these as a screw driver as well. Just be sure your bit is very tight before you start.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 53 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One Of My Best Purchase's Ever This is one of my best purchase ever. As a beginner and a woman. This drill is very easy to use and very light. I was recommended this drill by an home depot woman employee. Who said that she owns one herself, and everything she told me was right. Brought it with a drill head set for a very great price. Comes with a handy bag to keep it stored in when finish that have room for my drill head set also. Very nice. February 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Product does as advertised It does the job.....performs as advertised....and...as needed May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is my favorite drill I bought this drill as an replacement for an older corded drill that was slowly dying. I figured that for the price it would be a cheaply built drill good for putting rough holes in things and little else. But once I started using it I have become very attached to it. It's a solid and powerful little drill that, unlike most of its more expensive counterparts, is well balanced, well built, and easy to handle. I've found that I will get this drill out and use it even when I have a cordless nearby because this drill is so comfortable and precise. I do cabinet work and this drill is very useful. Best money I've spent on a tool in years. March 29, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Save your money...useless I bought this drill while visiting my som & needed a cheap drill for a home project. This thing is useless. The chuck slips even while drilling a modest hole causing the bit to get stuck. Not good for hole more than 3/4 inch. Get a decent drill May 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great drill for the cost. We use these drills commercially 10 hours a day 5 days a week. Assembling hardwood case goods involving drilling holes for screws. The screws range from 1"- 4" #12. You can't bet the cost for what you get compared to drills costing three time as much. Extremely tough gear box, very heavy metal gears in fact the only things that wear out are the switches and chucks, easily replaceable. For the average home owner this drill would last for years without any problems. April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An Exxcellent little drill!!! Bought this to use with a jig to drill 35mm holes for install install hidden door hinges. I thought it might be too much for it but it powered right through! Excellent power and rpms. April 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome priced drill Awesome drill for the price. Got the drill not expecting much, but has performed better than expected. April 27, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good Drill Easy to use for small projects. Didn't come with any bits which I thought at least one would be. Overall it's a good drill. April 19, 2016
