Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Soundman5000 Best product for the price EVER! Cut hardwood OAK limbs, like butter!
I must say I was impressed with the ability of this inexpensive pole saw. When unpacking the unit just snaps together and you must push the little pin lock things in but it snaps together in like 30 seconds, put some bar and chain oil in ( not included ) and you are in business!
I needed to get some rater large hardwood oak tree limbs away from my roof. The professionals wanted a arm and a leg so I searched for options. I old manual saw on a stick thing was NOT an option as some of my branches were 4" to 5", I had my doubts this little guy would work but it cut through these big branches like butter! The 6 amp motor never slowed down and had plenty of power.
After finishing my tree cut today I was left feeling like I had stumbled on a super deal as I truly did not expect this saw to handle this big job like it did. I am so impressed I will consider Ryobi 1st, when it comes to my future home improvement needs as I got more than I paid for! .
The chain did pop off as I was finishing ( always happens when I use a chain saw) but only one small bolt to take the bar off and put the chain back on, far easer than ANY chain saw I have ever used in the past. With that in mind, this Pole saw worked better and had more power than any electric chain saws I have used in the past. The unit does NOT include bar and chain oil so do not forget yours when purchasing this fine product. Pics included of the large hardwood limbs this little guy chopped right through today...Very impressed, A true time and money saver and very easy to use!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by okcop516 Nice trimmer, job done
I bought this after an ice storm for clean up of debris. It cuts really well and is easy to operate. The only issues I have is the chain guard is very poor quality and the length of reach is too short.

Works great right out of the box. Just add bar oil, plug and go. I bought this saw because a local tree trimmer quoted me $300 to trim my 2 evergreens and 1 Chilean Mesquite. Of course he also included hauling off the trimmings but our local refuse department had a "brush and bulky" pickup scheduled for mid May. So, for $99.00 I trimmed my own tress, and hauled the trimmings to the curb. As I see it, I saved $200 and got some exercise as well.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Butch Very good purchase for my needs..
The pole saw is of very good quality and I was able to get done what I needed to do as far a trimming my trees. I would liked to have more length on the pole but that probably would have made handlng the weight of the saw more difficult. All in all I am very pleased with both the quality and price of the pole saw...

Well designed product for single-person yard trimming. It is light and easy to clean. The design is also inherently safe with the chain saw six feet from the operator. I would suggest that this product be used by a single worker to avoid injury to nearby workers or children.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Contractor Best $ 100 I ever spent.
The saw was easy to put together and is pretty sturdy. The one improvement I would make but would probably add a could of dollars to the cost, would be to make the bottom connection hinged. That way it would make storage and transportation a lot easier.

This saw is easy to operate and no ladder climbing. We easily trimmed our trees and shrubs. No gas or oil required. Easy to adjust the height of the pole. Light enough for a woman to operate.
