After occasional use for a year, the battery charger died. I am unable to find the charger anywhere (and I really searched everywhere)
Therefore I have to throw the whole thing away.
The Ryobi site no longer has the charger available.
Cheap price but not worth it.
This drill really had minimum power and really could not drive screws fully into wood.
Very disappointed with the purchase.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Scooter14 Great drill for the price!!
We bought the drill to construct some shelving in a bedroom closet. Perfect for that project. Then we wrecked a glass shower door and needed to drill new holes in the tile for a rod. Once again, performed flawlessly.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Zach Great value for small/light duty DIY projects
First of all I must say this drill is a 9.6v. So don't buy it expecting to screw down duroc or for that matter if try to fasten a 4" deck screw to a stud. It is for sure a LIGHT duty drill. With that said, i have used it from putting up mini blinds, to hanging pictures, to putting together and taking apart things around the house. I have owned the drill for about 3 months now, and it hasn't let me down. Adjustable speed (which always stays on max for me) isn't really needed on this drill because it's a small drill to begin with. Otherwise, good deal. For $10 more though you could buy the 18v version which is capable of way more.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Joe567 Great little side kick driver/drill
I bought replace an old Ryobi 6v drill. I've had this about a year and I am pleased. I chose this drill because I trust the Ryobi brand and I wanted the smallest drill I could find. It gets into the small places my big 18v drill cannot. This little drill is great to have around for driving screws without swapping bits out of my other drill.
The down sides are; it comes with only one battery, and the charger doesn't indicate when the charge is complete. If you need something tiny, this is it, otherwise the new Ryobi 12V One+ is a better option.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer Yes it is a drill, but read the manual
Read the manual: The battery pack for this tool has been shipped in a low charge condition to prevent possible problems. Therefore, you should charge overnight prior to use. Note Batteries will not reach full charge the first time they are charhged. Allow serveral cycles (operation followed by charging) for them to become fully charged. After normail usage, 3 hours or less charging time is required for fully recharge battery pack.If both red and orage LED indicators glow, the battery pack is deeply or completely discharged, and 6 hours or longer charging time is required to fully recharge battery pack.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Warren98 Can drill two 1"x2" holes only after each recharge
I bought this drill Friday night and I had to charge the battery overnight. I used it Saturday morning to drill holes of 1 inch in diameter and 2 inches deep out of a softwood. I sucessfully drilled two holes, but I needed to recharge the battery before I can continue drilling the third hole. I sucessfully drilled five holes in two days. Finally, I gave up, refunded it, and bought a corded drill of the same brand which is $2 more expensive. The corded drill is much better that this cordless one.
