Answer:
Yes. I drilled into a Mason jar. Just put some painters tape down where you intend to drill and drill slowly so you don't overheat. Wear gloves in case you shatter accidently!

Answer:
Yes you can. I just made a lamp out of an absolute bottle. Start out with smallest bit and go to largest. Try drilling in the side of bottle near the bottom that way the cord will not be under the edge of bottle. Good luck.

Answer:
Hi Nick, this most certainly can be used for that application. When doing cuts just be gentle and steady it will work just fine. Good Luck!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Tip Broke in Hole One of Four - Disappointing Brought this because of the brand, but was very disappointed when the tip snapped off, drilling about 1/4 inch into porcelain tile. I was drilling slowly, about 150 RPM, well within the mfg. guideline of 350 RPM. Yet another project delay. :-( October 19, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Small one broke on the 4th hole The small bit worked will until it broke on the 4th hole. The tip broke off. I returned and got a new pack. Same problem. The small one broke off. It did go through ceramic tile pretty well while it worked. September 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works well on cement shingle siding I purchased these to drill holes in fiber-cement siding as my masonry bits had trouble drilling through. They worked very well- were fast and never walked. However; when I tried drilling porcelain tile the 1/4" bit broke after about one minute of drilling, September 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by tip broke on one of the bits have to return for replacement. one tip broke while using it. fortunately the larger one survived making all the holes. Have to return for replacment. September 6, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst bits poor quality Bought 3 sets of these bits and they all broke before drilling the first hole installing shower bars the tip remained in the hole cannot remove ruined the project. Buy Bosch instead works a lot better and you get your money's worth August 30, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 1 1/2 star For 1 it burns out to easily will not be recommending this product August 2, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Tile and glass drill bits They did not last very long, cheap price short life. July 5, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It's hard to drill thru tile, here take these. Notice the tiny warning on the back of the package "Not for ceramic tile". They still worked if I went slowly and didn't "twist" the bit. May 5, 2016
