Used these to drill rivet and lace holes in aluminum and stainless steel, had no problem with them, so looked at other reviews. Saw that they gave 1 star after trying to use a metal bit on wood...

Found drill bits themselves were not made in the same "centricity" as the bits 1/4" hex base. Consequently, the drill bit "wobbled" when drilling.

I used these for drilling pilot holes in wood door casing. I thought titanium would mean 'durable.' I was wrong!

On the first hole on soft pine, all for drill bits dulled off the bat and the titanium came right off. I sharpened these, then while using them in a drill press, they snapped right in half. For less than 3 times the price of this junk, you can get a Milwaukee 14 piece drill bit set with sizes from 1/16 to 1/2 inch that cuts through steel like a hot knife through butter. These Ryobi drill bits are great for drilling through soap. I still love my Ryobi drill press however.
