Answer:
It can accept a cord, but it doesn't come with one. The battery compartment has a small plastic door in it that hides a set of power plug prongs that are hard-mounted to the chassis of the blower. Just slip an extension cord over those prongs and you're in business (just like plugging something in a wall outlet, but with the opposite end of the extension cord).

Answer:
It doesn't actually have its own cord but an extension cord can be plugged into it to use it as a corded unit. So it can be run on corded or battery power.

I can't say for certain because I have not run out of power so far while using the cordless sweeper. I have the high capacity lithium batteries and so far they have outlasted my sweep times. I bought this blower to replace a BD 18volt cordless because all my BD batteries seem to be on their last legs and BD did not offer a Firestorm lithium battery. The lithium batteries are far superior than ni-cad with the blower because they do not lose full power as they discharge - when they are drained they just shut down the device. But as I said above, I have not run out of juice so far. My bet would be the blower would run at least 15 minutes or more with the larger battery. Read Less

Hello Mkbuilder. There are different variants that play a role in predicting the precise run time on a battery operated unit. However this is a hybrid unit and can be used with electricity for back up power. Hope this helps.

The whole thing came in a box that was quite small, unfortunately I did not keep the box, the nozzle and blower head were dissembled but only click together, the longest part is about 20 inches and the blower head is less than 12 inches deep, I reckon it would fit your box

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 272 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works! I don't know why I took so long to go cordless? This blower not the strongest, but it works. I have a quarter acre size lot, clears the driveway, sidewalk on side of lot, the deck and is still going strong. I know this has also electric connection but have no need to use yet. The 18 volt battery and charger came from trimmer/edger I also own. This is a great product, and I intend to buy more out of this system. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good purchase This is a good product if you already have the One-Plus system with other batteries, since the small battery runs out in 10 minutes or so. Plenty of power for blowing grass clippings off smooth driveway. July 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Light duty. Perfect for small area. A lettle light duty but I expected that. Does what I needed. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RYOBI BLOWER THIS RYOBI ITEM IS THE BEST THING I BUY I RECOMMEND July 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gets the job done, but nowhere near the power of a corded model I got what I paid for. I didn't expect this to be as powerful as a corded blower, and it's not. It works reasonably well for blowing leaves off the pool deck, but it struggles a bit blowing pine needles off grass, for example. I haven't had an issue with battery life; I can clear everything I need to on a single charge with plenty of reserve. I would have actually traded a bit of battery life for a stronger blower, if I had the choice. I have not yet tried the corded option for this blower, but my understanding is that the motor runs the same speed on battery vs. corded, so my impression is that the utility is the same - it just provides infinite run time. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good light duty blower This blower works well for blowing of the drive, patio or roof. I am not sure how good it will be for heavy leaves in the yard. It would be nice if the battery lasted a little longer, but the hybrid design takes care of that. My wife found it easy to use and very satisfactory for those quick, touch up jobs. July 20, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Mostly disappointed Weak, even with freshly charged batteries. Eats batteries FAST. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cordless or corded -- best of both Light weight with enough power for typical home use. Have used inside out buildings and garage. Used for clearing drive way of twigs and small branches, light gravel, dropped apples, and lots of misc storm blown debris with ease. July 20, 2016
